
Worst experience Iāve ever had while trying to shop for a car. Arrived at the dealership just a little before 6pm and was shortly testing a 2011 Camry with 150k miles which I was very happy with and was wanting to purchase. Listing price was $10,500.00 took over an hour to process the transaction while there was no communication during. When I was finally given the paperwork to sign they gave me paperwork for a completely different car. I said something about it and then it took another 15-20 just to get a new copy with the correct vehicle information. I noticed that there were completely different prices on the paperwork. When I asked why it was listed for $10,500 but it was on the paperwork as around $12,000 but with interest it was $20k. I asked the girl I was working with Danielle if I would be paying the $20k or the 12k and she told me it would just be the $12k then I looked at the payment breakdowns it was 53 payments of $343 which totaled up to a little over $18k. When I pointed that out Danielle then told me it was the $20k not the $12k. So I told her was no longer interested in purchasing the vehicle and asked for my down payment of $1350 back and she told me I would have to wait until the next day to receive my refund because it was after their store hours and told me they closed at 7 when the hours were listed until 7:30. Given it was a little before 8pm when it happened so they were closed. But the tone in voice she had was making it seem like I was the problem for not wanting to leave without my cash payment or a vehicle I did not purchase. She told me they were locking the doors regardless. So I asked for paperwork because I wasnāt going to leave empty handed and she provided me a check like piece of paper with nothing official on it and didnāt even have my last name on it. She stated it was a valid receipt (which I didnāt even sign anything saying I purchased the vehicle so I was confused on why it would be a receipt and just give my cash back) but she said I needed to sign paperwork with the bank to process the refund. I asked for my last name to be on the āreceiptā and asked for the hours of when I could come in the morning. She told me 9:30am and then I asked how long the process would be and she then told me to come in at 10:30 because thatās when her manager would be there. Today I came in a little after 10:30am and they quickly gave me a paper stating that there was no outstanding balance between eagle motors and I. And they gave me my refund. There was no manger around and no paperwork I signed with any bank. The process took less than 5 minutes which was so confusing because if those were the reasons I wasnāt allowed a refund before but the manager and the bank werenāt involved in the refund showed they just did not feel like issuing me my refund because it was after hours. We spent more time arguing about the refund than the process actually took. I will never look to do business with them ever again and would never recommend to anyone else. The communication before the purchase was spot on, communication after is why Iām giving lower stars. Excitement & ready drive back home it didnāt dawn on me that we didnāt get the paperwork until we got home. My husband texted the sales man immediately, He apologized & said heād let Daniela know to email it in the morning. 2 weeks later I realized I had not received the paperwork and call Daniela myself. She says she will have the sales man to send it soon as we hang up. Nothing! A week later I call the sales man myself & told him Iām not sure whoās responsible but 1 of them better send my paperwork NOW itās been nearly a month since i purchased the car & I do not have any paperwork. Fast forward 2 days before temp plate expires, Iām at BMV to plate & title the car, and I have yet to receive the title. I call back to car lot and was ping ponged around twice before the original guy Genius called me back. Saying they been had the title and I should have been contacted about it. Did I want to drive back to OH to come get the title since I only had a couple more days to plate the car. This costed me $30-$45 in late fees once I finally received the title⦠Iām sure they knew I would have to pay late fees since the car wasnāt registered within the 45 days. Sharoz gave me the time and attention that only a true service professional can provide. I saw a 2016 Escalade I was interested in. I was allowed to have a mechanic check it out. The mechanic found a few issues, and when I brought them to Sharoz's attention, he agreed to fix them. Sharoz gave his word that after he had the work done, if my mechanic found any issue with the work, he would make it right.
He went above and beyond to make sure that not only was this vehicle up to the safety standards set by Cadillac , but I was 100% sure I wanted this vehicle. In some used car sales positions, the seller can be pushy or untrustworthy. Sharoz couldn't be farther from that. He was patient, attentive, and courteous. There was no point at which I felt like just another sale. More like a customer that he wanted to make 100% happy with their purchase.
Sharoz not only decided to make things right with the vehicle but also gave me peace of mind that if it isn't, he personally will make it right. He did, Sharoz is truly a man of his word.
