Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Hamilton

12-6-2023. The night lady manager is the worst, needs coaching. Went to the drive thru and ordered a simple buffalo chicken side salad, two blue cheese. Drive thru girl comes on the speaker and says "so a chef salad with shredded cheese?". No, i want a buffalo chicken side salad with 2 blue cheese. Drive thru girl came back and asked "is that a regular burger or cheese burger?" I figured I'll give it one more try. A buffalo chicken side salad with two blue cheese. Drive thru girl asked "what size fries?". I left the drive thru and went inside to do the order, and let the manager know that the girl in the drive thru girl isn't paying attention, getting my order wrong. The manager girl proceeds to tell me it is none of my business, that the system is new. I, again mentioned that the drive thru girl isn't paying attention and was getting my order wrong. Manager girl starts arguing with me and then says "I'm not taking your order and you are rude, get out of the store." Her attitude started to spill over to others. I didn't get mad or raise my voice till that happened. My next reaction was not the best, i told her to goto h*!!, and left. Went to Gold Star and got what I wanted with ease. Had a to-go order so can't really say much about the service or Atmosphere. But my friend went and picked it up and came back hoping it would be a better experience than Gold star chili. Sadly it was not. Like Gold star chili (I got the Chili cheese fries) I was very disappointed. The fries were cold and tasted raw. My friend even asked them to make the fries "well done" but they were not. They did put a lot of cheese on them but that was the only good part. I ended up tossing them out. My friend had the Chili cheese dogs and Cheese fries and he was disappointed as well. His fries tasted raw and the hot dogs were cold and raw. Love going to skyline, it’s been my favorite place to go to (especially since being pregnant) this is the closest skyline to me. Unfortunately will not want to return bc of the service the last time I was there. Waiter was rushing, had a “whatever” type of attitude. Got my entire order and then walked off and didn’t even get my fiancés order. As If I was the only one there. Asked for no cucumbers on my salad. Still got put on there. Maybe was just having a bad day? A bad moment. Either way. Was not very welcoming at all. Not a very pleasant experience. So, from now on I go through the drive thru at this location.
