In my experience, upgrading to a new phone is similar to visiting the DMV. It is a necessary endeavor that is tedious and frustrating. Much to my surprise, my experience at Verizon Russell Cellular was actually pleasant. In fact, the entire interaction was unexpectedly enjoyable. Peter Hoffman handled my trade in with ease while engaging with other customers in the store. He sought out available, qualifying credits and promotions that could be applied to my upgrade to lower my monthly fees. Peter was professional, knowledgeable and consistently went above and beyond while assisting me and other customers who visited the store. Needed to get a charge cable and stopped in No one was in store, after a short while a young guy, maybe 30 years old came out He seemed aggravated that I had come into store He could not have been more ignorant and rude if he tried I told him it was for I phone 10 He was not paying any attention He said what type do you want and rattled off a few I again said I phone 10 “If you had said that in first place we could get somewhere “ was response I said “this is rediculous” He said “you are rediculous” At this point I left and went to the gas station and found what I needed The cashier even said thank you What a concept !!!! Bought a brand new iPhone 11 Pro in November 2020. By May 2021, it did not charge or play music through the lightning charge port. I brought it into the store and the kid working could not care less. He told me to either pay off the phone and buy a new one or pay $200 for a refurbished one. THIS PHONE IS BRAND NEW. How I was treated here, I will never return.
