I can't believe I've lived in the area since 2011 and this is the first time I came to this amazing spot.
đ± Tech Meets Hospitality: A Next-Level Menu Experience
One of the coolest things I noticed was how well-integrated their tech setup is. Instead of scrambling to find your waiter or wondering what specials are available, itâs all right in front of you on the digital screens. It actually made ordering easier and created conversation points with the staffâlike, âHey Delilah, that's you on the screen up there?â
It didnât feel cold or disconnected like some âmodernâ places. It enhanced the diner experience, making it feel fresh and relevant.
In a world full of chain restaurants and mediocre breakfast joints that serve the same tired menus with indifferent service,
OverEasy Diner is a beacon of breakfast brilliance. Itâs not just about great food, although youâll absolutely find it here. Itâs about:
â People like Delilah who make you feel like family. â Owners who infuse love and pride into everything they do. â A dining experience thatâs as comfortable as your favorite hoodie and as exciting as a Sunday morning adventure. â A community of regulars who welcome newcomers with warmth and a smile. â A menu thatâs both classic and creativeâwith zero weak spots.
We came in expecting a good meal. We left feeling like we discovered something truly special. So, if youâre reading this and wondering whether itâs worth the stop, let me save you the trouble: YES. GO. ORDER THE HUNGRY MAN BIG BREAKFAST (yes, I actually ate it ALL and they even had gluten free bread). ASK FOR DELILAH. MEET BRUCE. STAY AWHILE.
I donât usually write reviews this long, but when a place restores your faith in dining out, it deserves every word.
Thank you, OverEasy Diner. You didnât just serve us breakfastâyou gave us a morning to remember. Weâll be back. Often. With friends. Meet...
Read moreI'll start by saying everyone here is very nice and the place looks clean. My omelet was very tasty with fresh veggies and the home fries and griddled English muffin were well cooked. My husband's meal was also cooked well and was tasty. The coffee was not horrible, just very weak. I drink mine with just a little half and half and it didn't have much flavor. I am used to drinking electric percolator coffee so maybe that is stronger than what they make here? My husband said much the same so coffee was disappointing. The breakfast links on hubs plate were a good size but again, not too flavorful. The pancakes were hot and fresh and looked good. I suspect they came from a mix but they were adequate and they did include a nice chunk of butter for them Got a cranberry/blueberry/walnut muffin to go and it was moist and fresh with adequate fruit and a good amount of walnuts. Service was adequate. There was also a cold draft running throughout the dining area. Prices were very reasonable....
Read moreDecided to try some take out here after a strong recommendation from a friend. Boy did it not disappoint.
Grabbed the Irish Bennies, and the first thing that caught my eye was the homemade Hollandaise sauce and the fresh home fries.
The corned beef hash was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside with a tender core. The home fries were seasoned perfectly and just a delight. A perfect compliment to any breakfast entre.
My only gripe would be the poached eggs being overcooked. More of a soft boiled egg than a goey runny poached egg. That being said, it really didn't alter the flavor profile and has no business causing a loss of a star. My mouth and belly were both left in a state of awe by the freshness and quality of everything that was going on.
I can't wait to try more options as Over Easy may easily become my favorite work breakfast location.
Keep doing what you're doing, because it is clearly working! Thank you for an...
