Mercury Plaza — Local services in Hampton

I just love Cracker Barrel breakfast. I went to Cracker Barrel on Saturday morning Dec 16 not for breakfast but for the Christmas merchandise. I was looking for Jennifer because she waited on me last year and I purchased alot of Christmas merchandise to give as gifts, she remembered me and help me with my merchandise and took to the counter so that I can still shop in the store, they have nice Christmas things. I spent around $99.00 and some change and Jennifer is such a nice person and she told me to have a Happy holiday and she hugged me, all the Christmas merchandise was 40% off and I will go back after Christmas to see what is left in the store. The Cashier name Brittany was also very nice with a smile, this group that they have now at Cracker Barrel is very pleasant and nice to the customers, Keep up the good work, Jennifer...

First time here and Sam was our waitress. She was very nice and knowledgeable. Sam even went to the back and asked my question because she did not know. I ordered catfish, eggs, hash brown, French toast and biscuits a watermelon lemon aid. At home they don't sell the catfish anymore so this was a delight to have today and it was delicious. Fried light and golden to perfection. However the watermelon lemon aid needs to come off the menu. That was nothing like watermelon and was sugar with a hint of tart. Every one else enjoyed their food. The store offered some really nostalgic candies that make a good conversation starter. There are some items there that would make good gifts as well. Mercury plaza has really changed over the years. I remember when there was a pet store, a cleaners, roses department store, HQ, Circuit city, a mini mall, and of course giants/farm fresh grocery. I like going to Walmart neighborhood market because I can get in and out quickly. I'm saying this and I actually work at the supercenter in hampton that everybody goes to, but nobody likes. Burlington has bigger, fashionable clothes for a big guy like me. Wells Fargo had the nicest staff and great service. Occasionally love a ribeye from longhorn or a country dinner from cracker barrel as well. Can't forget that delicious chic fil a, yet they are...
