Progressive Gardens NJ — Local services in Hanover Township

This is a hidden gem. I drove right by this place the other day and after taking a quick glance, I decided to spin around and check them out. I walked the yard and was impressed by the organization and health of their plants, shrubs and trees. I saw a beautiful Tamukeyama Lace Leaf Japanese Maple nestled in the back. I was instantly in love but was prepared for some sticker shock when I got closer. To my surprise, it was extremely reasonably priced and I didn't hesitate. The father and son team helped me load the tree into my pickup truck and even went the extra mile to cover it with netting to prevent wind damage for the transport home. I have it planted in my front yard now as a focal point ornamental tree and I couldn't be happier. I'll be back for sure, do not hesitate to check...

Best garden center in North Jersey! Not the largest center, but the personal assistance from the owner, Brian, and the wide selection of “perfect” plants is a departure from the ordinary garden center experience. We come here for all our vegetable plants, garden flowers and accent foliage. The condition of the stock really is of the highest quality. We always comment to each other that it appears to us that every plant, flower, shrub and flower arrangement has been meticulously cared for, pruned and arranged. Even later in the season, the leftover plants were in really good condition. I've passed by this place many times, and finally decided to check them out when I was in NJ. Very glad I did. I bought several beautiful black salvias for my mom along with some herbs. The man inside was very friendly and helpful, and even helped me carry the plants to my car, placing plastic down on the seats, first. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time...
