Howse's Fudge — Local services in Harbor Springs

I'm not a fan of fudge, but these people impressed me! Went to the store on a recent visit with family friends. We bought dark chocolate treats with almonds and some dark chocolate turtles (or however a treat with chocolate, caramel and pecans is called) for adults, and some fudge for children. Amazing quality - pleasantly right amount of sugar, everything was fresh and very delicious. Service was also exceptional, a young man behind the counter was very professional and kind. We also saw a boy, probably sibling, helping out - great way to learn things. It was a remarkable shopping experience! We stopped in for the fudge and we plan to return for, the fudge. We purchased a bar of their mint chocolate, and were gifted some "chips" of other fudges being made. We were give some cookies and cream and some peanut butter chocolate fudge. While I'm not a fan of white chocolate, the cookies and cream is quite good. I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. And our daughter found the peanut butter fudge and dug in immediately. That was also a hit. She also promised to tell everyone she could, and even drag them in if she had to. We were in Harbor Springs for one purpose Howse's Fudge. I always stop here when were in town so I buy enough to hold us over for a while. We live just south Grand Rapids,Mi. so it's not just around the corner. I have bought from here for many years.. This time we did have a little problem with one type of fudge. I called and explained. The first thing I was told was †hey would replace it immediately. I wasn't expecting that so I thanked them and received the replacement 2 days later. This is why I choose over all the others Howse's. You won'd be disappointed. Great Family run business....
