HEB was the one place I never complained about, except about some of their business office people who are rude and sometimes ignore customers. But in the last year they are price gouging. Too many of their products have Inflated 25%, 50% and some things are over 100% inflation doubled in price. I am fed up with the greed. Wal Mart is worse but they always have been. I go to Walmart maybe 10 times a year. I am in HEB 4 or 5 times a week and every month their gouging increases anger me. If HEB is going to continue to pass all the costs onto their customers then I am done. I am going to small places like Michiocana and the dollar stores. Some things might cost a little more at smaller places but they always have, they didn't hide it, I'll just buy less. I remember at the beginning of 2022 I told people HEB never lets me down. Now Mexican sweet bread, pan dulce, is a dollar each, HEB is turning into a disgustingly greedy company. The Gubment says inflation is 9%, not at HEB they are going for record sales at multiple times inflation. Also FYI, I too have witnessed the employee that another reviewer described abusing a an EBT customer at self checkout: (("was so rude and had a bad attitude, I didnât see her name tag but she was short and had curly hair.")) I go this HEB twice a week since not all HEBs sell the same items. This is the only store in Harlingen that has Cacique SOYRIZO. And the HEB on commerce is the only HEB here that sells the large over 30oz Strawberry Nesquick mix. The HEB on Morgan is the only one that sells the 6 slice Mexican cortadio pink frosting cake. A great value compared to the other stores that only sell the 4 slice pack, if at all. I could go on but too many things to list. There is another very rude cashier lady employee at this HEB. She has short hair, sometimes shaved, she's been here for years, at the register she can be very nice but other times she is rude and talks down to customers. She's usually on the second register away from the self checkout in the evenings. Oh and HEB 11 o'clock closing time is unacceptable, change it back to 12 midnight. I used to go to Walmart after 12 o'clock midnight but since they never went back to their usual times either I do everything I can to avoid...
Read moreA Scent-sational Experience, Thanks to Chris! Oh, Chris from HEB, where do I even begin to express my profound gratitude? Your recent bagging performance has truly elevated my life in ways I never imagined. Let's start with the dishwashing detergent. I mean, who needs a cap on that thing, right? And placing it upside down in the bag? Pure genius! My car trunk now boasts a scent that can only be described as "aggressively clean," and honestly, it's a huge improvement over that lingering scent of⌠well, groceries. I'm considering bottling it as an air freshener â call it "Eau de Chris." And my dishes? Sparkling! Truly, I've never seen them so pristine. Having to use half the bottle at once was a stroke of brilliance. My plates are practically glowing. Who needs a full bottle for multiple washes when you can achieve such dazzling results in one go? As for the food I had to throw away, that was just an added bonus. I've been meaning to declutter my fridge, and you, Chris, provided the perfect motivation. Who needs sustenance when you have such a pristine vehicle and gleaming dishes? Initially, I thought, "Maybe Chris didn't open it." But then, a thought hit me: why the upside-down placement? That, my friend, is where your artistry truly shines. It takes a special kind of talent to combine chaos with precision. So, from the bottom of my now-exceptionally-clean heart, thank you, Chris. You've taught me valuable lessons about trusting the bagging process and embracing unexpected aromatic adventures. My car, my dishes, and my life will never...
Read moreThis H-E-Bâs âyoungâ managers donât even know how to help customers. This is the second time I have this interaction with this lady. The first time I needed help with a product and she was too preoccupied with her personal phone to focus on finding me the product in the right display. Heb, how do you expect us to ask for âhelpâ when your âmanagersâ donât even know the new display of the store. I had to ask a grocery worker who was very helpful, and stopped what he was doing to make sure I found the right product she mislead me with. That same manager was saying the item I was looking for was in the end cap by the restrooms. It was not.
Today, im trying to get to the register to checkout, and sheâs been walking so slow taking her time and chatting with a fellow employee. I said âexcuse me maâam.â And she proceeds to look at me with a look of disgust like I was in the wrong. So unprofessional. Anyssa...
