JCPenney — Local services in Harlingen

Excellent variety and if you're careful you can get very good prices. We were very happy when they went back to their old method of discounts and coupons rather then that shilly thing they had for a while when they only had discounts on Friday. You never knew what to discount was going to be so you didn't want to buy anything any day but Friday and of course what you wanted wasn't on sale on Friday. I think they have recovered from this fiasco and my family enjoys shopping there again. Probably not something I should say but many places need to have staff that are managing the facility that Have an understanding of people rather than just thinking they have an idea to count beans and hopefully make a profit. Very clean organized store. Great customer service. Employees welcoming you into the store AND SAY HELLO! Displays look great. Restrooms very clean. Store is comfortable to shop in, not hot. Plenty of staff at checkout , manager calls employees to the checkout to help customers in line. They invite you back to the store, with a " Hope to see you real soon". I was in retail 23 years. There a couple of things that bother me about this store. One is the noise level of music an do the variety of music in each area. Why not have one type of music for whole store,some areas play louder than others. My second complaint about this store is getting rid of plus size fashion for women over size 12 and affordable jewelry. There a lot more plus size women and men in the RGV. than thought. I do not like having to go to another town or online to try and find what I want. Please bring back a pleasant experience that...
