Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Harlingen

So I hadn't gone in over 2 years due to the pandemic...and to say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. No one acknowledged that we came in like before with the "Hi!! Welcome to Cicis!" greeting, even though there was a girl at the register. Then instead of taking our order, she just walks away to do something else. She eventually came back and took out order and was courteous, but not friendly. But I guess that's to be expected sometimes so I didn't say or think anything of it. When I went to get my food there was only like 3 options of pizza (usually there's more), only 1 of which I can eat (vegetarian here & no spinach pizza at all today) but I got my salad and a slice of cheese pizza(no pasta either only sauce). There was only 1 dessert available and it was hella cold. I really wanted to try the one that's for a limited time, but it wasn't available at that time. We decided to go to the little arcade room they have...and lo and behold hardly any of the games we're working, one even ate my tokens🤦🏽‍♀️. Out of 8 or so games I believe 3 were working. Tonight my family came to eat and we were there for 45 minutes and no pizza available. 1st worker said the 1st shift people left them with nothing made. My family ate when did came out but I myself didn't do asked for a refund and what possibly was an assistant manager came over and was telling the other worker typical. What she needn't by that I really don't care. Then said oh it's because we are short staffed and I said yes the previous guy told me that but I didn't eat and I've been here for 45 minutes. People were waiting for pizza and looking so disappointed. 2 workers just waking back and forth not helping or trying to help get the rest of the crew caught up. As people were coming in the cashier never told people we are backed up it's gonna take a good 20 minutes for pizza or something so customers would know and not start looking frustrated and upset with the crew at least trying to get caught up....

This Cicis used to be good a couple years back. I come often because it’s my kids first choice but this location is horrible. Third time we come and the buffet line is empty, all that’s left is maybe 5 slices of old dried up pizza. The staff needs a major update or management needs to be a bit stricter. I tried to place a pizza order, the staff ignored me while talking amongst each other for a good 5 minutes as I stood a foot away. Placed my pizza order, 20 minutes later I ask for it and they forgot to make it. Went to Weslaco location last week and that’s what Cicis is about they had friendly staff, fresh pizzas coming out and a full buffet to choose from. Brownies are always dry here thought it was due to new packaging but nope Weslaco’s were the way we remember them. I would not recommend this Cicis, spend your money elsewhere, it’s just not worth it at...
