The delivery guys were attentive, helpful and worked hard and made sure not to get anything damaged and helped me place everything how I wanted.
The sales representative that sold me the furniture I bought in bulk however lied to me. She sold me 2 sofas that were of a discontinued line and were actually displays and they arrived damaged so I couldnt replace them for new ones, something I only found out about after I called with the complaint. During the call she claimed to have checked them and that she saw no damages. She said she could offer me a 600 discount and give me an additional 100 credit in the first payment, another lie cause as I navigated through her sales-speech she fell in the trap and let me realize that the 600 she mentioned was past tense, talking about the original purchase date, not 600 now from damages, that she already gave me a 600 dollar discount.....yeah for buying in bulk and for what i thought was a good product, not damaged goods. So she tried tricking me into thinking i was getting a huge discount. The worth is 1500 for those 2 sofas which I got for 999(that's 500 not 600 discount, another lie) cause I bought in bulk, the second option was to get something else from their catalog replacing them for 2 others of the value of 999, instead of the same value of 1500 as if I had bought these non damaged ones she wanted me to pick on the first day I bought everything. Read moreI recently bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer set from Jano's. The sales person Stephanie hyped up the customer service on this brand which is expensive, so I bought it. The washer broke down 1 1/2 months after I had it home. When the technician from Janos, which is a Speed Queen registerd servicer came for the service call, he mentioned that it should get replaced. Janos sent me back to Speed Queen which then sent out another registered servicer. They told me the motor was burnt. After waiting a week for the part to come in. It still did not work. Now I am currently waiting on another unknown part to come in. So, I currently have a broken $1300 machine with less than 3 months of purchase full of water sitting in my laundry room. Every time I talk to Jano's I am told that they will reach out to Speed Queen. This attempt has gotten no where. I am very disappointed with both Jano's and Speed Queen.
