I came here for a second opinion on prices to renovate a bathroom and our sales guy "Guy" provided that and more.
From the moment we placed an order with Economy, everything went downhill to a living hell. We found out the following day, they fired our sales rep with no explanation to us. Next, we had to clear up a few things on our order with Harold (apparently the owner) of the company and thought we'd be in good hands considering he does own the place.
Fast forward 4 weeks later, I call Economy and they tell me "everything" has arrived and they'll call me back the next day to set up delivery for that Monday. What do you know, NO ONE CALLS ME!! It's now Monday and our contractor starts work on our house and Economy never calls me to schedule shipment of all our supplies. Then Economy rushes to deliver our supplies that we ordered, only to find out when the delivery guy arrived, we have items on back-order, and when I initially called that morning, I specifically asked if anything is on back-order or missing and the owner Harold says no. The owner then makes up excuses on the back ordered items and doesn't bother to find out "when" the items will be arriving so we initially received 65-70% of our order.
Secondly, our bathroom cabinet comes un-drilled with holes for the knobs which were supposed to be installed beforehand. Not only did we ask for this but it's on our quote. It's not a big deal as our contractor can take care of it but it's something Economy screwed up on.
Thirdly, I have to call Economy over and over and over and over again for a status on the back order items. Then, I find out 20% of my will be delivered a few days later. Not only does Economy NOT call me about my shipment AGAIN but their delivery driver is 15 min away from my house, and thank g-d my contractor was home to receive the order.
Fourth issue, as of today, I call Economy probably for the 30th time in less than a week to find out they are shipping out an item on our order that we didn't even know was back-ordered.
All in all, a company can have competitive pricing but without any customer service skills, at all, this place should and will be going out of business. It makes places like Amazon more appealing. Not only does the owner not care but has the audacity to argue with me on occasion as I'm extremely frustrated with their customer service. The least they can do is provide a discount to my total order for this disgrace of a company and how they treat their customers on all levels. Also, to this date, I had to cancel a few items as they couldn't receive them in time and Economy had just about 2 months to process the entire order. There is ZERO accountability from Economy as they continued to point the finger elsewhere and I will forever boycott this company...
   Read moreI had an awful experience this morning. Went in hoping to get the help I needed but the staff was very unhelpful. A young lady named Mariana working in the showroom was very rude and unapproachable. I did not have an appointment and yet there was no one in the showroom besides my mother and I. We wanted to order a toilet and view options from different catalogs etc. This lady they have working in the showroom had no intentions of helping us. All she cared about was if I had a model number so she could place the order not trying to maybe point out a few options, show me a catalog or ask specific questions to find out specifically what I was looking for. The point of going there was to get help and guidance in ordering a toilet. When I asked to speak to the manager the people there looked at me with a blank face and I was asked to go upstairs where the “owner” would proceed in helping us or so they said.I decided to walk out of the store and go make a purchase somewhere else. She was a true partner to us and always had our best interest in mind. Not only is Mary Ann is extremely efficient and very knowledgeable in all types bath products, she was a good consultant to talk through colors and designs with. She was spot on with all the technical details & measurements. Mary Ann is a trusted professional who knows how good customer service can effect a relationship. It's clear she truely enjoys her job and cares for her customers! She was excellent and quick with follow up. These are qualities you can't get from working with an inexperienced/unmotivated/random employee at a big box retailer. Will be working with her and Economy again on our kitchen remodel.
