very disappointed with my experience here. the place is clean and big, looks very modern. i got my navel pierced by ana. she was very sweet and nice throughout the whole piercing process. afterwards, she discreetly tacked on an extra $10 for the gold jewelry i wanted, which she was not upfront about. on its own not a huge issue, but frustrating nonetheless. i ended up having problems with the piece of jewelry she gave me. it did not work for my anatomy (my belly button is too flat and deep for a standard navel ring, something any experienced piercer would’ve recognized right away) but she did the piercing anyway. she did not want a photo after it was done either, which tells me she knew she messed up. i contacted her right away to let her know about this issue. she took a while to answer, there was no sense of urgency even though i made it clear i was stressed about the whole thing. she told me she could switch out my piercing 4 days after i got it. i have 23 other piercings and know this is a BIG no-no. you’re supposed to let a piercing heal before switching the ring out. that’s piercing 101, i fear. she said she would search for other rings for me, and never got back to me. i had to remind her. finally she backtracked and told me to buy a ring from amazon and bring it in, also not something i was comfortable with; i thought she should have ordered me new jewelry, since she’s the one who made the mistake (i am aware that i was willing, but the “certified” piercer should have known better than to give me this piercing). i ended up telling her i wanted to remove the piercing. she told me to do that myself and i could come in later and get it repierced. why would i come back after a mistake like that? she didn’t even apologize to me about it (a simple “sorry you’re not happy with it” would’ve gone a long way), just told me to come back in and spend more money. after this whole experience, it is clear to me that she doesn’t care enough about the work she does, she only wants money. i spent $100 to have an extremely painful navel ring for 5 days. very disheartened by this experience & will not...
