We had a problem with our new Lenovo Ideapad P400. A couple of days after we received it, my 2-year-old son had 5 minutes alone with it and immediately managed to pull 5 keys out of the keyboard!! We managed to put four of them back in, but part of the plastic holding the fifth was broken in the process. After checking another place and failing to find a replacement for the broken plastic carriage, we went to Manny's and it was a totally different experience.
Robert was very courteous, friendly, and professional. He took a good look at it, and told us that it's okay and he could fix it. He attached it the correct way, and then managed to glue the broken part although it was very delicate (probably 2 mm or less) without gluing the button itself and impairing its mobility and function. And he did that in less than 15 minutes all in all.
I write this to acknowledge his flexible repair skill, and also to repay his favor, since he refused to take any money for this task that he felt was little. To us, however, this saved us about $90 to get a used replacement keyboard! It also saved us spending further time and effort on this...
Read moreHad my phone sent here because it’s a UPS access point after ordering it online but missed the UPS delivery. I called after I got notified both through T-Mobile and UPS that they delivered it to their front desk and left me their location. I don’t know the woman’s name but when I called and explained to her my phone was sent there and asked if she could please confirm that it was there before I drove over she said “Oh my god I don’t have time to be looking for your phone right now I’m too busy, you need to come yourself and see if it’s here”. After that I ended up driving over because I obviously had no other option and when I got there everyone there said they never got any phones in and even showed me their “shipment receiving chart” and said they would call if it ever showed up. I decided to call UPS themselves because I didn’t trust the workers and UPS said their delivery driver delivered it at the exact time I was notified and said a Manuel received it. Currently UPS and both T-Mobile are starting an investigation to see how they magically didn’t receive the $1,000 iPhone. I will be updating this...

He was constantly talking to other customers or answering his cellphone after he had already had begun to wait on me. Estimated repair time was two weeks, but it took 8 weeks plus 24+ phone calls to finally arrage a day to pick up the laptop laptop. I arrived and he was a no show, thus I drove a total of 1Hr+30min. for nothing. Finally the laptop was returned. We tried to use It, but it was frozen on a page that made it impossible to access anything. Fourth trip back to same store ... should I charge for gas money? Finally he restored the laptop to a functioning state. During the 30 minutes he worked on the laptop, he continuously stated that there was nothing wrong with it anyway. Good luck to Mr. Cash...
