I’ve been meaning to leave this review for some time, but I’m finally writing it now because I just had to buy a new chain for my daughter’s nameplate necklace. About two years ago, around Christmas, I purchased two custom name chains that cost me between $500–$600 in total. Both came with necklaces.

In the last two years, my daughters have probably worn their chains only two or three times each, and almost every time the chains broke in random spots. The quality feels very cheap, especially considering the price. I even paid once to have one chain repaired, and the very first time my daughter wore it again, it broke. These are preteens wearing the jewelry—definitely not tugging or pulling on them—so there’s no reason they should be breaking so easily.

To make matters worse, I took another chain in for repair and was quoted over $100 because I was told it needed to be fixed in multiple places. I ended up going down the street, and they repaired it for just $40.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend these chains. The designs may look nice, but the quality and durability just don’t...
