Office Depot — Local services in Hattiesburg

I went to Office Depot to get a simple print out on a 11 by 7. The young girl with the nose ring was so rude. I've literally stood in line and watched her help others and work orders. This day, she didn't WANT to do anything. Every question I asked, almost was a " I don't know or I can't." I went across the street to UPS, I explained it to the worker there, she took the print out, scanned it and printed it right out. Just like the bad attitude worker at Office Depot could've done. If you want to be treated kindly and get items done, go to UPS. I've been a member at Office Depot every since they opened. I purchase all my supplies, computers, laptops, printers, ink, etc....from them. But this rude girl has totally changed my mind about continuing to shop with them. It was for a funeral and she didn't care, one way or the other. No color,.just black and white writing, one 11/7 page. She's been there whole, there was no reason for her to lie and act as though she didn't want to...

I had a great experience here getting a desk. They guys on the floor who helped me were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and made helpful, relevant recommendations. I casually mentioned the kind of work I do and they responded by recommending accessories that would help me out and even going and getting them to demonstrate how they may be useful. Didn't at all feel like they were trying to upsell, just responding to a need I presented while we were chatting and waiting on the desk to be pulled from inventory. I'm pretty chill when dealing with employees because I'm one myself and I know what all we go through especially nowadays but I feel like they went above and beyond to answer my questions and help me with the purchase. This Office Depot is HORRIBLE. I came in to mail a small package/envelope and it took about 25 minutes just for me to be acknowledged (though there was only two people in front of me). Then when I am acknowledged, I'm told to enter my OWN info and left for about another 10 minutes. Then, when they finally start printing the label, the computer is super slow and he does it wrong. So after wasting 40 or more minutes of my life, I decided to leave and take my money somewhere else. The customer service is awful and almost everything is overpriced. I am never returning for anything. They need to get new computers/appliances...
