NO! NO! NO! They will tell you what you want to hear to make the sale. It will be written on the bill of sales/contract. But when it actually comes down to it, they will do whatever they want after they get your money. Shop elsewhere! They aren't much cheaper than places like Sears. Also, they will not tell you the delivery time window until late the day before delivery. So, if you have to arrange your work schedule, plan on losing the entire day for delivery. Oh.. and plan to possibly lose a second or third work day for when they just don't show up to the appointment they made. Mattress Direct is a fail!
Here's our story: We purchased a king mattress/box and twin mattress from the mattress direct store in hattiesburg. We were promised free mattress removal on the bill of sale/contract. The delivery men who delivered the mattresses Wed., 5/31/17 refused to take our old mattress and box springs and said it was because "we have no room on the truck because it's so full from the holiday sale." He stated several times that they would return Friday to retrieve the old mattress and box springs. I never understood why they didn't have room on the truck to take one king mattress and the two extra long twin mattresses that went with it. They had just delivered to us a king mattress set and a twin mattress. So why couldn't they just put three old ones in the place of the ones they'd just delivered. Anyway, they said they couldn't take them that day, but they'd return Fri. 6/2/17 to get them. They left the old mattresses in our livingroom! Thursday, 6/1/17, I called Mike, the salesman at the Hattiesburg Mattress Direct store where we purchased our new mattresses. I wanted to confirm the pick up time. Mike said this was the first he'd heard about it and that I could call the warehouse to find out more information. Before ending the call he agreed to "make a call" to find out what is going on. When he called me back, he said that they did have a lot of deliveries Wed., so the truck was packed. He added that they would come retrieve the old mattress set Fri., 6/2/17 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. He repeatedly added that it probably won't be that late. It is well after 10:00 and we have not heard from anyone. Our phones have been on and we have been home all day. We arranged our schedules to be here waiting on them and we have not been notified of any changes in the pick up time.
Part of the reason we chose to purchase a bed from mattress direct was the free removal. Had we known that Mattress direct would refuse to fulfill its end of the contract or that we would have to figure out how to store the old mattress set at the last minute because we were not informed of this policy until the new beds were anctually being delivered, we would have...

The sales guy was nice enough, but the main delivery guy was lazy, rude, threatened and tried to intimidate me and was generally absolutely awful.
When I made my purchase, I told the sales guy I'd buy the new bed if his delivery guys would move my current bed up stairs to my guest bedroom. The main delivery guy said he didn't care what the sales guy said, my old bed was too heavy for him to carry. My old bed weighed much less than the new one and this guy was 6" taller than me, almost 1/3 my age and had a helper. I'm 65 years old and ended up carrying the old bed up the stairs by myself.
After unloading and delivering the new bed, they loaded it back on the truck and left; technically, stealing my property. After the truck left my home, the sails guy tried to call the truck driver to arrange alternate delivery. The truck driver ignored the sales guys calls..ended up taking my property back to Louisiana. The sales guy arranged to have it re-delivered, but when the truck driver made it back to Hattiesburg, he only brought the frame and not the mattress. A second re-delivery attempt was made. This time they had the bed and mattress, but did not re-deliver my sheets and mattress pad. PLUS, I had to pay $60 cash for the free delivery I was promised, since I refused to allow the guy that tried to intimidate me back on my property.
The sales guy said he would bring my sheets and mattress pad by after work...but failed to do so.. I paid for them, but still do not have them.

Mike was not overly pushy and asked questions to find out what I was looking for in comfort. I was there for over an hour he did not rush me and was very patient. I returned to the store with my husband that afternoon. Mike answered his questions as well and was very helpful. Mike was by himself and as other customers came in he gave them the same attention would politely excuse himself and went back and forth giving us time to try out the mattresses. Once we decided on the cloud breeze he got the paper work done quickly called to verify delivery. Our mattress arrived the following Wednesday as scheduled. We used our existing bed frame the delivery guys set everything up and programmed the remote. Mike called Me Thursday to verify delivery. Friday I called Mike as the mattress was rubbing on the bed frame. Mike came to our house and installed the bars at the end of the bed to keep the mattress from sliding we when used the adjustable feature. The package only had one set of the screws with plate and we needed another set. He politely offered to drive back to the store and got the missing pieces came back and finished the installation.
