Couture Claws Nail Studio — Local services in Hawaii

I had a delightful experience at Couture Claws! This was my first visit, and I got matched with Jordan, a Pedicurist and one of the owners. I booked a Deluxe Couture Pedicure (90-min). After a foot soak in their signature copper pot, Jordan gave his full attention to cleaning and exfoliating my feet after which both my feet and lower legs were given various luxurious treatments ending with a wonderful massage. I particularly loved that many of the treatment products they use are created by the wonderful Amanda with Paper Crane Soaps :-) To finish, my toenails were painted with my selection from a wide color palette of polishes. Couture Claws is a cozy local shop set up by a local couple in partnership with other talented personal care professionals. I particularly enjoyed the welcoming vibe, the lively banter and the overall community feel of the space. Lastly, I also appreciated that Jordan offered me a discount due to a “special” that I had not known about previously as well as a take home gift for being a first time customer. As of 01/09/2025 my gf booked a pedicure with gel. She hasn't been for a few months so she was so excited and super happy to have them done. She even asked me what I wanted color-wise it was cute.

BUT she gest there and they have changed locations from the old one at Kona Brew. Since they don't answer their phones, she had to guess on their Insta for the address.

When she gets there for her appointment with Jase, the nail tech starts YELLING at her telling her she's 20 minutes late as my gf is apologizing trying to explain why. Finally my gf concedes trying to make use of the deposit and goes on to get a simple pedi. Only Jase keeps talking down on her and giving an attitude. My gf is sensitive and not a confrontational type so she just sits in the chair CRYING and embarrassed.

DONT go to this place. Jase should be fired for that type of treatment. I can't believe a business has employees so untrained to treat paying customers like trash. Couldn't say worse things...

Couture Claws is the absolute best nail place in town! Not only is my nail tech amazing but the salon is so incredibly beautiful and special. It is such a nice salon to sit in while you get your service and these are the best nails you will get on island. This is mostly an appointment based salon so I like to book my manicures a few weeks in advance to make sure I can get my detailed nail art with Cyndy!

Cyndy is hands down the best nail tech on island. She is sooooo incredibly talented and can make any of your nail art dreams a reality. She is so very fast too! I have come to her with so many ideas and she hits it out of the park every time. I get natural nail hard gel sets and she is soooooo incredibly meticulous with every detail and I can easily keeps my sets on for over a month. And if you go to her prepare to get nonstop compliments on your nails!
