Daiso is a true shopping gem that never fails to amaze. This Japanese retail wonderland is an absolute treasure trove of affordable finds. Whether you're in need of everyday essentials or just looking for unique and quirky items, Daiso has it all. One of the standout features of Daiso is the wide variety of products you can discover under one roof. From kitchenware to stationery, home decor, beauty products, and even toys, it's like stepping into a world of endless possibilities. The best part is that everything is budget-friendly, so you can indulge in retail therapy without breaking the bank. Daiso's commitment to quality is evident in their products, which, despite their low prices, are surprisingly durable. The store is impeccably organized and the staff is always ready to assist, creating a hassle-free shopping experience. Whether you're a fan of Japanese culture or just enjoy great bargains, Daiso is a must-visit. It's a shopping haven that guarantees you'll leave with a smile and a bag full of delightful surprises.

This place is awesome and has a lot of things to look at even though it's a little bit crowded. The staff is really friendly and nice! (Besides a couple of them but that's okay!) The prices are great and reasonable. Some of the shelves are a little empty but that's due to it being so newly open, so I'm sure they will restock as well. I am so happy that Daiso is here in Hilo because that will limit going to oahu for now. This place is a really must see if you really love Daiso. I took As many pictures as I could even though I was shopping 🛍 lol

Daiso is originally a Japanese one-dollar shop. If you travel in Japan, it would not be difficult to see and visit this store. They sell various items for living, and most of the items are useful for life. However, there are not many items in the Hilo store, and you may not be able to find the items you want.

If you have been to a Daiso before skip this one if you can. Its borderline claustrophobic inside its so compact. I cant say anything else it was so overwhelming trying to navigate it in there I left before purchasing anything. Tried to go a second time and was basically kicked out for having my kid in a cart from Ben Franklin side, even though there's an entrance from inside Ben Franklin and plenty of signage saying to purchase Ben Franklin items before going into Daiso but nothing mentioning specifically that carts aren't allowed. When I let the employee know you're basically forbidding me from the store because at 2 years old my daughter is a liability not to mention my 1 year old that I am already holding and she was fine with it. So don't shop here...

Disappointment with customer service . We came into Hilo from Kona which is a 2 hour drive. We were limited to purchase 5 only of planter pots. I wanted to buy more than 1 variety but could buy only 5 total. I am a paying customer and should not have been denied the right to purchase as many as needed. I do a trip to Hilo once every 2 months and can’t make daily trips to Hilo. Think you should open a store in Kona. The population there can support your business. The old KMart location would be an ideal location. You should make an exception for out of...
