So first off I have to say thank you to the owner of the restaurant. My siblings and I were cruising through Hilo and stopped at Starbucks to get some coffee when we saw the open sign at Vans. Mind you this was at 8:55P and they close at 9:00P. I called and asked if we could order some spring rolls. He happily agreed, so we hurried over. So thank you to him for taking a very last minute order. Okay so the spring rolls were made to order and were super good. Decent size and the sauce was super flavorful. Glancing over the menu I saw my favorite Bah Mi and some other sides. I will definitely be coming back here to taste everything. Prices are very affordable. So I suggest definitely trying it out. Open everyday (except Tuesday) from 9:00A to 9:00P Going either tomorrow or Sunday to get a Bah Mi!

This Vietnamese place is new in town, and I'm so glad it's here. My wife and I have visited three times in the past week and a half, it's just that good. The spring rolls here are the best I've had on the island: the perfect texture, so fresh I could cry. The portions are extremely generous and I've always had leftovers. Most of the time when I've visited I've seen people getting their orders to go, but we've always dined in and had an extremely pleasant experience. It looks unassuming from the outside, but you know what they say about treasure. It's found within. Personal recommendation? Get the grilled pork vermicelli and the spring rolls. You won't be disappointed.

My VERY PICKY Vietnamese family loved and approved this place! We are visitors from out of town and looking for good Vietnamese food to satisfy these critics is always a challenge. But everyone loved their soups! The cafe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) is probably one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot from all over the world. The prices are very reasonable. The portions were generous. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We came in on a Saturday at 5:00pm and had the place to ourselves. The server (maybe owner?) was friendly and attentive. Food came out quick but very fresh. Do not hesitate to give this place a try!!

I phoned in an order for Pho Tai Nam x5, Pho Bo Vien, and Pho Tai Bo Vien. I picked up the order only to find out the order was wrong once I got home. I ended up getting Pho Tai Nam x6 and Pho Nam. They left out the meatballs. I called back letting them know.

I have 4 hungry kids and I had taken out all the containers ready to prepare to make the bowls when I called back. The cashier said I had to return all the food back so he can inspect; instead of me driving back to pick up the meatballs.

My wife and I had to repack everything back into the bags. We drove back in the heavy rain. When we got back to the restaurant, the kitchen guy went to inspect. I told them there's nothing to inspect, we were missing the meatballs. The kitchen guy said that I only had to bring the receipt, but they already had a copy of the same receipt I had also brought back.

He proceeded to open every container like we were lying about our orders. He goes back into the kitchen to put in the few meatballs that he never included. Like for the trouble we went through to drive all the way back in the heavy rain, he could have thrown in more than 2.5 meatballs.

If it weren't for 4 hungry kids, I would have just returned all the food for a refund. There wasn't much food to begin with. This was the first and last time that I will be supporting this...
