I reached out to Something Blue early on in my wedding planning via email and they responded back exceptionally fast, within the hour! As a curvier gal I was certain my options for bridal dresses would be limited, but boy was I wrong. When I met Lupita for my bridal appointment she already had two dresses pulled for me based off of the photos I sent the boutique. The bridal appointment was a confidence boosting experience, as Lupita was kind and attentive to what I wanted in a dress. Horrible store!!!!!!! If you leave a bad review on their Facebook page they just block you. They sold a mother of the bride dress for almost $500 that didn't fit. The sales person told the purchaser the dress fit. The dress is too small, buttons won't even button. Then all 14 buttons on back of the dress fell off once the purchaser got the dress home. The dress is also way too long and the sales person didn't tell purchaser it wasn't able to be shortened due to the beading on the bottom of the dress. A call to the store was less than helpful as the manager said it was just too bad, she said "we give all purchasers time to look at the dress and they should know if the dress doesn't fit". Something Blue is my favorite store in downtown Hays! They always have unique items that are great for gifts, and of course I can always find plenty of items to treat myself to! The store has a wide variety of items including cute clothing, bralettes, food items, and unique items such as printed tea towels, candles, & decor! Many of the items are made in store and their prices are seriously amazing! Definitely the most reasonable in Hays! I wish Something Blue had been around when I was searching for a wedding gown; I could have easily bought 2 dresses or more for the price I paid for 1!
