Read moreNot sure I've been to a more unfriendly place. Don't expect to be greeted with a smile or a "Good Morning" when you walk in. Not only do they not accept card, but they're rude about it. Also make sure not to ask them about their selection, or what they've got, because the lady blankly stared back at me as if I hadn't uttered a word. It's shameful for a company as historic and rooted in the community as this one, to treat people the way they do. Feels as if their entire business model is to sell to locals and locals only. It's amazing how much the shop could be improved by simply replacing the rude cashier. Seems like a place for the owners to hang out with the old locals more than anything. 1st: 8am, they're completely out of donuts, but seemed nice enough about it
2nd: 5 am, "ok I'm going to go there early this time" but didn't realize until after we ordered that they don't accept credit cards and the lady was very short with us like she wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible.
3rd: 5:30 am "ok maybe she was just not having a good day" It's early, I throw on sweatpants. The lady (Brenda is her name apparently) is looking me up and down being so judgemental of me and my bf. Even the patrons sitting down inside seem to stop chatting to stare at us.
