I will never shop at this store again, unless the Management improves. Shopped here a number of times this time. Today was the worst I have ever seen. Sign on the bathroom said need a key. Walked up to get the key from the cashier. She said I'll get you the key walked away. Came back said oh the bathroom is out of order. So I'm assuming the store manager or assistant manager or whoever was in charge of the store this morning knew but that was a problem. No sign on the bathroom stating out of order. Tried to enter the mall to use their bathroom and the doors were closed. Could not exit the store to enter the mall. The cashier said to leave Dunham's go outside and go into the other Mall. Why have a door into the mall if you're not going to open it? Tried to leave the store and the doors would not open to allow me out. Had to walk around to another set of doors to leave the store. Okay, now I understand stores have rules. However, I got the distinct impression that the manager or the heavyset guy with the Blackbeard. I don't know if he's the manager. What got the impression that he did not want to take the time to clean the men's rooms or to close the doors when the store closed. I've worked retail especially on a Sunday and I've had managers try to cut the time it took to close the store. Hand princess son on a men's room out of order sign on the entrance door. Enter only sign on the exit door this way out exit only. Store seemed poorly run. Not customer friendly. It also appeared to me that someone came out of the men's room before I tried to enter. Bottom line, I felt that my business was not wanted in this store. Therefore, I will shop at a store that appreciates...
Read moreWent with my husband and his friend to buy a riffle. The guy that came to assist had an attitude when we asked for the riffle (my husband and his friend don’t speak English) so we give home my license and my husband’s friend’s ID. We decided that he was going to buy the riffle and the guy just left us there to wait. When he finally decides to start the process to buy the firearm and when we finish he asks for my husband’s friend green card because he needed to make copies we told him that we didn’t have it and that we will back with it. We come back and the guy is hiding from us. So I went to the front and asked for someone to assist us and he came after a couple of minutes. We finish the process and he tells us that we have to wait for the background check that he will gives us a call when it comes back. That never happened. My husband and his friend went back two days after and inquired about the background check and it was approved. My husband calls me to be able to communicate with the person and they told them that he had to do the background again and when they notice that my husband was trying to translate for his friend they snatched the tablet from his hand and refuse to do something that was approved already. I feel because we’re Hispanic (a community that is growing fast in Hazleton) we’re discriminated. I told the person that was at the phone that they lost a customer. I will never set foot in...
Read moreSelection of athletic apparel reminds me of a discount store selling last seasons stuff. They never restock their inventor. I get the feeling Im being followed which I understand and deal with after all it is Hazleton but atleast produce an acceptable answer when I ask a reasonable question e.g Lady refolds a whole rack of 25 Blue Nike Shirts and I ask "Do you have any other Blue Nike Shirts and she responds "I dont think we carry any blue nike shirts sorry" me "What about the 20 you just folded" Lady "Oh I didnt understand the question but you can check online thats your best bet". Go to Bloom or Pottsville I feel like they do alot better with inventory Check local pawn shops in Hazleton first it appears 1/4-1/2 of thier inventory has been sourced out to them. Idk I guess Dunhams has a deal with these shops 1 super plus my total is always less then I expected they dont bother putting sales flyers up so I always expect to pay...
