I love going to Ollie's, they always have some type of new shipment of something different. You can find all kinds of stuff that you didn't even know you needed until you found it in there. They are very laid back and very helpful if you are in need. My wife and I were looking for a new ac unit for the house and we went online and found that Ollie's had the cheapest ones available and they were a higher btu then the ones for sale at Walmart and Lowe's. Also we found a lamp with the glass broke in the clearance section. It was very industrial and sturdy and totally worth fixing. So I asked if I could still buy it and they said sure if you want it and charged me only $4 for it. Great deal. My wife also found a digital discount coupon on the Ollie's app and we ended up paying only 150 for a 190 dollar ac, $4 for the lamp, 60 for two rugs that were originally around 120, and a 8 pack of socks for $4. In all we got a brand new ac, two brand new 5'x7' rugs, brand new pack of socks, and a industrial table lamp that was most likely a $200 piece. All for around $230. Great place to find really good deals. And that was nothing compared to the amount of different merchandise they have in this store. October 14th/22. I guess Google wanted more of a post on ollie's which I'm always happy to do I love this place, today they really blew my mind with how organized and cleaned up it is since the last time I was in. All kinds of extremely cool furniture, crazy snacks I would love to see everywhere other then just ollie's, like Wise corn on the cob popcorn, or cheese fries potato chips. I think I grabbed eight new bags of chips I've never seen before with the coolest flavors from wise, and why aren't they everywhere? Idk why I just don't spend every dollar I got at Ollie's already. Idk what's...
Read moreThis is the 5 th time I have come into this store and have had an upsetting experience. The women Donna M in the hazleton store. Said she’s a manager, however her grammar and attitude are horrible for any manager. She complained when she was asked to help me. And then walked away like I wasn’t even there. When I went to cash out she would follow me up there and ask to take care of me. When I was in there last week. I was stuck asking for a product and had asked Donna. She said we don’t have it and I should have looked it up online first. Then she laughed at me and walked away. When I try calling for a supervisor or to file a complaint I’m told Donna no longer works there. So she’s now answering the phone and lying.
Went in the store today. Got told there was no credit cards being excepted there machine was down. Then got to the register. Donna still works there refused to wait on me. I did tell the young nice friendly worker to report her for that behavior as she kept...
Read moreGetting better, it used be a mess. Watch the prices, some stuff is not worth it. Otherwise, it's an absolutely fantastic discount store. The staff are overworked, yet seem to be very courteous and friendly when asked for something. A refreshing experience compared to many retail stores these days. Lines can get long, be patient, it's worth it. Update -- been a few years now, do NOT every buy anything with a cord from here. Wherever they get their electronics and appliances from is screwing Ollie over and only sells them garbage. I've had multiple AC, heaters and fans go bad within a year or two of buying at a mild discount. Super frustrating and money + time wasting. I really hope Ollie's gets a better buyer real soon or they're doomed. They'll go out of business on returns and garbage fees. Word of mouth about terrible goods will spread fast when we're out here wasting hundreds of dollars to try and save...
