i have had spectrum for years. i recently dropped all spectrum. on 6-2-22 i called to find out what i needed to do to get my phone and my number imported to a different server. i spoke to a very nice woman on 6-2-22 she told me exactly what i needed to do she also told me that my bill was paid in full until 6-20-22. she told me as long as i had my phone and number imported before 6-20-22 that no further payments would come out of my account. i had to wait on a new sim card when it arrived i contacted my new service provider for them to import my phone and number, every time i had the new server try to import my phone and number they received a message saying it was an incorrect security pin (the pin i gave them was the pin on my bill ) then on 6-10-22 i received a text from spectrum saying thank you for your payment. i called in right away and spoke to joel who wouldn't let me get a word in until i raised my voice to him and told him to shut up and let me speak .he then told me do not raise your voice to me. after that i requested to speak to a supervisor twice and i was informed that it wouldn't do me any good to speak to a supervisor because they would tell me the exact same thing he had just told me . he put me on hold and within a minute the call was ended. when i had my new provider try again to import my phone & number they received the message again that it was a wrong security pin. i placed a 3 party call to spectrum with my new provider and the women we spoke to said the pin # i had given was not the pin # in the system so she let me set up a new pin # and in 2 minutes my phone & number were imported to my new provider. i'll NEVER have spectrum for any...

My phone got stolen and walked into this store, and with some questions and advice I got a cheaper smartphone due to my line of work. Was a pretty good phone until it just completely lost all service abilities entirely after only 8 days. After a lot of troubleshooting I went back to this store and they confirmed the phone wasn't recognizing the SIM cards anymore. I was told the phones weren't very good; had a lot of problems. I would have never considered buying the phone with my money if I was told that before. I tried to use the warranty that I also bought for it but the warranty didn't cover it at all. Additionally due to the box being severely damaged I threw it away thinking, well the phone is going to last a decent long time because it seems good, and as a result they couldn't even restock it, even with the $50 restock fee. To summarize my experiences I was basically sold a faulty phone unbannounced; I would have had to pay out of my pocket for a brand new one. Needless to say the same day I tore down all of my internet equipment, went right back into the store, threw everything on the desk, and said void every single plan I have and I'm never considering spectrum in my life again, nor will I ever give anybody a positive reception to them even considering. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell I went there to upgrade to #SamsungZfold5 but instead of $1,000 trade in value as was 2 months or so ago, they will only give you $100 in trade in value for my #SamsungS23Ultra5g.
So I am holding off even though my performance is lacking at times even with high speed wifi at home.
Oh well, I just wanted the latest fold that was tested and performed well, unlike last generation with quality issues when it came to the screen primarily.
They are now pushing basically a better camera quality and clarity #S24Ultra5G, which I really like many. I am sure you do not warrant a financial investment and technology upgrade of any true significance that would benefit.
Simply put, the function and form are not that much different in my humble opinion as I am sure as others feel the same.
Sorry Spectrum, I really feel you do a disservice with going to push the newest #Samsung Ultra over a reimbursement for a truly different form and function technology upgrade in the #SamsungZFold5.
The perfect deal was advantageous as well made of a common sense reason to upgrade . Now, it is not there and opens up my mind as many others to consider other phones and not to mention service providers =/ š¤
