When a business -- especially a small business -- does something awesome, we have to speak up... especially when they didn't have to.

Back in January 2020, my newlywed wife and I were on our honeymoon in Helena, MT. There was a wonderful little pottery shop in the historic downtown there called JMac's Pottery. We bought a whiskey glass that I drank flat whites out of for almost a year afterwards... until Delia accidentally dropped it. It shattered into several pieces, and there was no hope of repair.

I got on Facebook and contacted the shop, asking if I could buy another and have it shipped to us. He said they were out of them, but that he would make more eventually. At the time, his kid had COVID, so he wasn't doing much of anything -- understandably!

I pretty much forgot about it after that. I think I may have followed up once a month or two later. Suddenly, today, not one, but two beautiful new whiskey glasses showed up in our mailbox!

If you like pottery and happen to be going through Helena, go buy something from JMac's. Or buy something online. They're the real deal, and he deserves...

Kind people, killer mugs, AMAZING TEXTURE. I loved everything in the store and will 100% be back. I found this place thanks to Fire Tower Coffee sending me over and visited 3 times in 3 days because I kept wanting to go back for things I couldn't stop thinking about. Love my mug, it fits perfectly in my hand and has a hearty feel- dishwasher and microwave safe so that's a plus! I got some of their lotion too and am pleased with that, I regret not getting a shirt but it's just another...
