I called Advanced Computer Group about a problem with my laptop about a month ago. Being relatively tech-savvy, I've historically handled my own PC repairs, but in this case the problem was a little obscure and I was unable to get it working.
They spent some time on the phone with me first, trying to get a grasp of what the problem was and if it was worth pursuing a repair. Ultimately, they thought it was and I brought the laptop in.
Because the problem was a little obscure, they had to do some research and eventually found a "possible" solution. I was warned in advance it may not work - but told them to try it (the price was very reasonable). That particular solution did not work, and they did the next repair (which did!) for free because of it.

They are trustworthy, if I have no openings in my schedule and a customer needs a rush job, I recommend these guys, if I don't have a part on hand and a job needs to be completed same day, I buy from them. It's been 10 years and I still find myself preferring to give them the recommendation when I can't take something on. Anyone claiming they are anything but open, friendly, and honest is a fake review posted by the competition.    Read moreYesterday our business' server had some issues. We got the run around from Dell computers who thought it was a power supply issue. Needing to get our network up and running, I brought our server to Mike and Jerry and paid for an express service. Within a few hours, they had us back up and running, our server upgraded with more RAM, and they even went through some of our system applications and tweaked adjustments to make our server faster for us.
As a business owner myself, I appreciate and patronize local businesses. Without them our server probably would still be down, waiting for Dell to send a tech out on their schedule, not mine.
