Before the 1st Frame — Local services in Henderson

My family and I really enjoyed bowling here since the remodel and decided to make this an every 2 week event. The food was good and the cook Barbara was extremely pleasant with great customer service. We were encouraged to make reservations for moonlight bowling on Saturdays. I called and spoke with Chad on Wednesday 10/5/22 @ 6:20 and asked if I could make reservations for a group of 14 for 10/8/22. He informed me that they did not make reservations as it was 1st come 1st serve. He stated that we would need to be there between 9pm and 9:30pm to give the count of how many people to hold the lanes. He told me it was $15 per person and we could bowl for 2 hours. He even said he'd be there working on the day I inquired about.

Fast forward to tonight 10/8/22 I walked in and said I'd like lanes for 14 people for moonlight bowling and the question I was asked was if I had reservations. And Chad was the person who asked. Talk about 😠 I do not appreciate being lied to about making reservations and do not understand why I was lied to. My family and I was turned away due to not having made reservations and all the lanes were already reserved. Chad was adamant that it wasn't him that i talked to but I confirmed it was him after getting home and finding the paper where I wrote his name down along with the price, time etc. I will be speaking with the manager next week regarding this issue....

It's a nice place. We love going to the midnight bowling. But I can say the last time was not that enjoyable. People pay money to play music from the jukebox....but there was a couple that had a Bluetooth speaker playing the music they liked, and no one couldn't hear the music that was paid for on the jukebox. Staff should be more observant of the guests and what the people are doing. Maybe not stay at the desk so much...Come from behind the desk once or twice just to monitor that no rules are being broken and go back. It's just unfair for people to bring Bluetooth speakers when other people pay for music they want to hear. Other than that, I love the place!!!! That was the only bad I have ever seen. I hope it doesn't get bad over the years like...

Usually the lanes are oiled properly and functional. The Tuesday night bowling prices are great. However, my friends and I repeatedly run into an issue with one of the employees turning us away from the lanes far before the stated closing time. On multiple occasions we have asked for two hours, or to extend our time, and been told off because the employee is trying to close early. This past evening we wanted to extend our lane by an hour and he wouldn't let us. Even though there were multiple families still bowling at the time and new groups coming in, he stated that he couldn't renew our lane because he wanted to close early. Mind you, this all happened three and a half hours before the posted...
