DIRTY, DISGUSTING & POOR QUALITY FOOD! Hopefully someone from corporate will read this review! Please hire a manager and new staff who care about food quality and cleanliness!
This review is based on several visits and I'm a huge Chipotle fan. I have eaten in locations all over the country so I know what the food should taste like. This location is hands down the most mismanaged and dirty I've ever seen with the most disgusting food served to customers, baring no resemblance to Chipotle food everywhere else!
I've ordered twice from this location and never again! Both times I had to return the food. Besides several ingredients being left out of the order, the rice was crunchy on the inside and mushy on the outside with no lime flavor and the cilantro that was black. I'm a chef and it's clear the rice was improperly cooked and then reheated instead of being throw away and fresh rice prepared. Rice is not supposed to be "al dente". Just so gross!
Worse, the grill was caked in burnt meat! It obviously hadn't been cleaned properly in a loooong time and when I said something to the staff about, I was given an attitude as if I was being unreasonable and demanding! I cook and it was clear that the grill was FILTHY! Additionally, I watched as all types of meats were being prepared one on top of the other without cleaning. The cook tried scraping it but the meat was burnt to the surface so the scraping was raking up burnt meat bits. The meat tasted disgusting and strange because it was full of a mix carbonized bits of all the other types of burnt meats. This place needs a visit from corporate and to follow proper cleaning protocols, plus to keep up food quality standards!
One my second visit, I ordered a burrito and it was so disgusting I asked for a refund. The Manager (some guy with dreads) came over and clearly couldn't have cared less, esp. when I pointed out the absolutely filthy grill and restaurant, trash covering all the tables and overflowing trashcans. His reaction was to shrug his shouldn't and say "we're doing our best". YOUR BEST? Really? Your best is serving fowl tasting food made in a dirty restaurant with the tables and the floor covered in trash and spilled food and the trash cans overflowing?! That guy deserved to be fired! His work ethic is utterly appalling!
PLEASE CORPORATE OR WHOMEVER OWNS THIS FRANCHISE, PLEASE PLEASE REPLACE THE MANAGER AND STAFF AT THIS LOCATION AND ANNOUNCE WHEN IT HAPPENS SO THOSE OF US THAT WOULD LIKE TO PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION CAN COME BACK!
Like so many other reviewers who have posted nearly identical reviews, we all want to patronize this location but someone needs to intervene ASAP and fire that indolent manager and careless staff and hire people with care about food quality and cleanliness. If that happens this location could be making so much more money! It mystifies me how this is...

You used to be my go-to, my lime-chip-and-guac-loving space. But now? Now, it feels like a tragic breakup I didn’t see coming.
First, the chips. Once crisp, and sprinkled with lime salt, they’re now dark orange, overcooked, and about as enjoyable as chewing on tortilla-scented cardboard. And the guac? Let’s just say “fresh” is not the word I’d use.
Then there’s the quesadilla debacle. My kid just wanted a regular chicken and cheese quesadilla—nothing fancy, nothing off-menu, just larger than the toddler-sized portion you offer.
Apparently, the only way to order that is through the app? Since when did cheese and tortillas require an IT department? And when we settled for the tiny kids’ version, the cheese wasn’t even melted.
Now, let’s talk service. I get it—food service is tough, and your employees deserve better pay. But when an entire team looks like they’ve been cast as extras in a zombie apocalypse film (zero eye contact, mumbling, sheer confusion), something’s gotta give.
And the final heartbreak: the plastic bag mystery. So much of your “fresh” food now arrives in sealed plastic bags before being dumped into the bar. What’s the deal, Chipotle? Are we getting meal-prep kit vibes now? Because that’s not what I signed up for.

Read moreI went to the Hendersonville location to redeem my rewards. There were like 6-8 people working there. Most were busy making their own burritos and not interested in waiting on me. Finally a person, who looked a manager came over to me and asked if he could help me. I told him I wanted a steak bowl to go. He asked what color rice. I told him the white rice. He scooped it into the bowl. Then he was called to the register to help a team member who was having trouble with a customer. All the while my rice was sitting out on the counter. Well after 5 minutes a different team member came over and asked what I was having. I said I wanted new rice as that has been sitting out for a while. She said they don’t waste anything there and proceeded to pour the rice back into the holding dish. Some of it spilled into the counter and she proceeded to just scoop it all into the pan. I couldn’t believe what I saw and what she said to me. Needless to say I told her I wasn’t going to eat at her restaurant and left the building. If that’s how they treat the food, no wonder people get sick eating Chipotle. Won’t be back. Don’t want to take a chance on...
