I work at the UPS Store and while I was packing something heavy it smashed my hand and, my wedding bands got bent. I researched jewelers near me and made a few calls. Every place made it seem like they would need to send my rings off for repair. On a whim today, after work, I drove to ACA Jeweler. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by two lovely women who introduced themselves as Magi and Alicia. I showed them my rings and as Magi was explaining my options, Alicia handed my set back, repaired… I couldn’t believe that within a matter of seconds she had reshaped them for me. Alicia upsized my gold cocktail ring 4 1/2 sizes, it was beautifully done, I could not tell that she had resized it at all. ACA jeweler is very knowledgeable, and shared it as she looked at my jewelry. I recommend Alicia highly as she is extremely talented and conscientious with each item. Called us and told us our ring we brought in to repair was fake and she would not work on it. Gave me a heartattack because I had all the GIA paperwork and bought at a reputable Memphis jeweler. Took to another jeweler and had them inspect and they said they saw no reason to think it was fake and even went farther and put it through a machine to confirm while they repaired it. Apparently ACA has a faulty tester but calling a customer telling them the ring is fake is something they shouldn’t take lightly unless they were 100% sure. Would recommend going to a more...
