I recently visited my local PetSmart store and overall had a very positive experience, which is why I am leaving a 4-star review. The store is well stocked and organized, making it easy to find everything from pet food and treats to toys, grooming supplies, and accessories. I really appreciate the wide variety of brands available, which allows me to choose between affordable options and more premium products depending on what my pets need at the time.
The staff at this location were friendly and approachable. When I had a question about switching my dog to a different type of food, an associate took the time to walk me through several options and even pointed out which ones had loyalty rewards or discounts available. That kind of service makes a big difference, especially when you want to feel confident about the products youâre giving your pets.
I also like that PetSmart offers grooming services and training classes, which makes it more of a one-stop shop for pet care. The cashier at the front was extremely rude and unprofessional, telling me I needed either a receipt or a water sample from my tank. Since I have multiple tanks, I wasnât about to test each one just to satisfy their ridiculous policy, so I returned another day with my receipt instead.
This time, a different employee, just as rude and dismissive as the first, refused my return and claimed that I had to bring a water sample, contradicting what I was told earlier. Itâs obvious that they donât know their own policies or they just make them up to avoid taking responsibility for selling low-quality, sick fish.
Not only is their livestock questionable, but their customer service is an absolute joke. The employees are unprofessional, rude, and unwilling to help. If you buy fish here, just know that if something goes wrong, they will do everything possible to refuse a refund or exchange.
Stay far away from this place! Find a pet store that actually respects...
