We found some great items today and we are very happy with the quality. We were not happy with the long wait at check out. We got to check out and there was one register open. We were next in line. We stood there for at least 8 minutes waiting to get to the register. I counted 12 people in line behind us when we got to the register. This is not the employees fault. They were working as fast as they could to ring up and bag the customers 2 full carts. They were also very pleasant in their interactions with that customer and us. This is a corporate staffing issue. Corporate is shortsighted and needs to staff appropriately. The store loses business when customers have a full cart of merchandise, see the line at check out and walk out. Our purchase price was $299.54 and my husband was ready to leave it behind. If I had not needed one of the items we would not have purchased any of it. Lack of customer service is going to be the death of in person retail establishments. We enjoy going to stores. 5 of the 6 items we purchased in our cart were purchased because we could touch them. We wouldnāt have purchased them online and likely would have never purchased them had we not seen them. How much money is lost due to customer frustration? I donāt know the answer but I would...

They, like many other businesses, were understaffed, which was most obvious in the excessive even for holiday shopping season admist a global pandemic backdrop. One matter of note, one gentleman appeared in such a hurry to complete his current task of relocating stock via cart down their rather narrow aisles to the point that he slammed into my partners leg no less than 3 times attempting to gain passage without the inconvenience of slowing down. The fact that his response was a muttered, sorry' thrown over his shoulder as he continued barrelling forward, raises the question if previous human interaction appears anywhere in their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOllie's has a little bit of everything. It is a "close out" store. This Corporation buys in bulk, especially merchandise that was last year's model or has been discontinued by the original manufacturer. But unless you are are stuck on the latest models, you can get some real bargains and great values for your money!
It is NOT a quick "in and out" store unless you are getting just one or two things that you know they have. But I think that browsing is half the fun of going to Ollie's! What do they have that's new to the store? What is on clearance? What are the special for the week? When I went yesterday, patio furniture was 30 or 35% off their already low price! Have fun on your first trip if you have...
