"I was about to pick up the phone to call you." Get used to hearing that. I am not one to write negative reviews, but the dishonesty and the lengths that I had to go through to actually have them complete their job was absurd.
I called LG to have a component replaced under warranty. They sent the repair order to Mccalls. I had to reach out to them multiple times to get an update. I was informed the part is backordered, and it will be available in a week. I wait a week and an extra day, nobody calls me. I call again, the part is backordered even more. Then it went to they shipped the wrong part and we have to wait longer. This repeated for over two months.
I called LG and told them about this, they informed me that Mccalls has NEVER placed any orders for my TV. I spoke to someone from LG corporate and informed them of the authorized repair center failing to fulfill their contract. Suddenly I get my first call from Mccalls (because every other time was me calling them and hearing "I was about to pick up the phone to call you"), saying the part will be shipped overnight and they can get me scheduled. Then I receive text messages from LG confirming that a part was shipped overnight - suggesting they never actually ordered anything before. Took 2.5 months to replace a defective component under warranty.
The guy who installed the component was super friendly and professional. But the company probably does not make very much money on a manufacturer warranty repair, so I was placed on the backburner for nearly 3 months until I called corporate. Terrible business practices filled...

UPDATE 2/23/19 - So let me tell you about McCall's... After dealing with a bad warranty repair experience with LG, their Twitter tech people finally agreed to repair my TV that broke during the warranty period (but was 'forgotten' by LG). And they finally listened to me and assigned the repair to the closest LG Certified Repair Shop...McCall's TV after only 6 months of discussion's.
The very pleasant Heather (who had been trying to help during this ordeal), sent her guys to try to repair my TV on-site vs bringing it into the shop. This was to minimize the down-time, and to make up for something she had no control of (LG, that's called 'Customer Service'). Unfortunately, LG didn't send enough parts to get the job done on-site, so they had to take it in anyway for the repair. TV was returned the next day while I was at work, re-mounted, and all connections correctly, yes..correctly, re-connected...the last part was a pleasant surprise as I had told the guys not to worry about that, I would deal with it when I got home.
So what do I think of McCall's? They were always pleasant to deal with, they came when they said they were coming, and I think we're lucky to still have a hometown shop like that in the area. So thank you Heather, and please thank your crew, they were...

All we needed was good internet service and local stations out of Gainesville over the air would be adequate. After trying and very disappointed with this and that indoor antennas, I began to research outdoor over the air TV antennas. Remember, before CABLE we had ANTENNAS, so whatâs old is whatâs new again. I was driving the neighborhood and I saw the HOLY GRAIL in a stand alone Antenna. I asked the neighbor and she had he son in law call and said he was satisfied with OVER THE AIR CHANNELS and to give McCallâs TV & Service a local brick and mortar store a call. When you call you will speak to Heather. Very nice, conversational Lady. She walked me through and said Marco would come out to install the antenna system and walk us through the channels and âhow toâ. Marco came out on time and did an off the charts job. We are completely satisfied with Heather, Marco and McCallâs TV Service. So, save $$$, get an Antenna or that BIG SCREEN TV you want and give McCallâs a call, you will be just as satisfied as we are.
