I had the privilege of living down the block until 2021 and getting the exact cut I wanted from George every single time. I have since moved to Brooklyn - where the barbershops / salons are quite serious about the craft - and while I get great cuts there, I still make it a point to stop in at Salon Envy and get that perfect cut and treatment from George and his staff whenever I'm back in the area.

You're always in good hands (literally) with George. He asks questions I wouldn't even think are worth asking ("Do you want a clean straight line across the forehead or a little more blended in?" / "How short on the sides and neck, Triple Zero or less skin showing?"). A consummate professional who knows what he's doing. Pro-tip: Ask about their other grooming services. My mother needed a cut today after having brain surgery with a shaved side head which she has worried about for months .Not only did George take her right away as a walk in he made her feel very welcome immediately setting her up and knew exactly what cut would work on her . I would have given a zero but it wouldn't have let me!!!! I am highly DISAPPOINTED from the service that I received from SAHARA, I showed her the color that I wanted and she said she can do it! It was the WRONG COLOR SHADE that I wanted and when I told her that i didn't like the color, she freaked out and she was very rude towards me!!!! I would not recommend using SAHARA as she was very UNPROFESSIONAL and she is NOT A COLOR EXPERT!!!!!!

UPDATE: I AM STILL NOT HAPPY WITH MY COLOR. The first picture is how she colored my hair and the second picture is the one I wanted my color to be like. They said it will get lighter in a week and it is been a week and it's still NOT lighter. I am still waiting for the owner to call me back and...
