B. Beamesderfer Gallery — Attraction in Highland Park

I have been bringing art to the B. Beamesderfer Gallery for framing for over twenty years. The staff is respectful, skilled, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The gallery has handled a wide variety of art for me from low end to high end. I have been more than satisfied with everything I have had framed there. Some of my works of art have needed conservation and the proprietor, Evan Brownstein, has an ongoing working relationship with nearby conservators who do excellent work; this aspect of the gallery has proved most useful. Mr. Brownstein is also sensitive to matters of price and can work with you on framing materials to meet your needs. We had personal pieces requiring frame repair and items that needed to be framed and after dealing with Evan at his excellent gallery, we will use no other for our framing / artistic needs. Being new to the area, I did a search and came upon B. Beamesderfer and had a feeling this was more than the standard framing shop. Met Evan, brought him our pieces and my wife and I both knew this was the man for the job. He took the time to go over everything, gave and was receptive to input, while making us feel comfortable in our final choices. We partnered with Evan to get a large number of high priced paintings framed by his handywork over to a gallery in Hong Kong. "Old fashioned service" is a dying breed these days. The shipment was on a very tight deadline and Mr. Jaffe, owner of Edison Pack and Ship, (the shipper), worked with Evan until 2 am to make sure that the shipment of paintings would be at the gallery in time. Plenty of people have excuses these days but Evan is a no excuse guy. He commits, he delivers outstanding quality, and he's a nice guy on top of it. We wouldn't recommend anyone else...
