Extremely Disappointing Experience with Sparkle Flooring I would not recommend Sparkle Flooring under any circumstances. The entire experience from start to finish was a disaster. The owner, Trevor, is completely unresponsive when it comes to addressing concerns, and customer service was clearly not a priority for him. Micah, who served as the middleman, failed to oversee the job properly and never followed up to ensure we were satisfied. The only time we heard from anyone was when it came time to bill us for the overpriced service. The work itself was far from professional. Our hardwood floors, which were supposed to be restored to a beautiful finish, were ruined in multiple ways. First, the workers left behind noticeable stains, handprints, and scuff marks all over the freshly painted interior of our home. Additionally, all the baseboards were ruined and had to be repainted. Mostly the color of the floor stain was much darker than what we had selected -- a glaring mistake that was never properly addressed. To make matters worse, the sanding was done so poorly that the nails are now visible through the floor. This is not acceptable work from professionals. When we reached out to Trevor, all he offered was a small discount on the final bill for the wrong stain color and then proceeded away without offering any real solution to the other damages. In the end, we had to repaint the entire interior of the house and are considering completely redoing the floors to fix the damage. Sparkle Flooring clearly subcontracted the job out and their lack of oversight and attention to detail was evident. The entire process was incredibly frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive. I would advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere -- they're overpriced, unreliable, and fail to deliver...

Last summer, Peter’s team refinished several floors that I installed 30 years ago. The results were outstanding and we could not be more pleased. I selected him because he is local, he knows his business, he is easy to work with, and his approach is direct and to the point. He also provided important information and good suggestions, which we accepted, that resulted in a better job.

I purposely planned the work to be done when my wife was scheduled for medical treatment and would be out of the house for several days. That meant that his men were in the house when no one was home. Doors were locked when they left and we had no problems.

He assured me that there would no dust problems and he was right. He has a customized vacuum system that works with the sanding operation. I wasn’t there to see it in operation, but there was no dust problem. In contrast, a co worker of mine had the floors in his house refinished by another contractor in 2016. He said that despite the contractor’s assurances, he had a fine layer of dust in many rooms of his house. It was a major clean up effort for him.

We agreed on a start date that he kept and he completed the work within the time frame he gave me. Finally, he gave me a price and stuck to it, no “unanticipated” extras. He was on time and on budget. I wasn’t shopping for the lowest price, I wanted someone who understands the work and had references to back up his claims. I cannot recommend Travis and the entire team at Sparkle Floors & Carpet enough! Travis was extremely RESPONSIVE throughout our entire process, from exploring vendors, to estimates, and completion of the actual project. Travis and his entire team are TIMELY (in fact they always show up early!), PROFESSIONAL and FRIENDLY. It is clear that a positive customer experience is their priority.

Our project entailed ripping out wall to wall carpet in three bedrooms, laying down new hardwood, and sanding and refinishing roughly 1,800 additional square feet of old, orange hardwood. Travis made himself completely available to provide a clear and timely estimate, and his team showed up the following week, on time and ready to get to work. They left our home clean each evening, and were always available for questions, and ensured that every detail was accounted for. Our entire project was complete in just two and a half days (a day and a half ahead of schedule!) with CARE and QUALITY, leaving our home completely transformed for the better!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Working with Sparkle Floors & Carpet was by far the best experience I have had with a contractor as a homeowner. It is hard to find RELIABLE folks these days who truly care about the work that they do and their customers - Travis and his team bring both...
