I bring all 3 of my cats here and have had great experiences each and every time! My oldest cat, Pearl, is my first ever cat and Dr. Dave & the front desk staff were kind enough to answer all my silly questions regarding care. I’ve since gotten two cats and him and Dr. Barkley have been nothing but helpful. I just brought my newest rescue in (adopted her the night before and they managed to squeeze me in the day I called!) and they told me she was positive for fleas & feline herpesvirus and gave me medicine to take home and treat her with. I’m sure she’ll make a full recovery and I have them to thank for that!

Great experience with All about Cats Cat Clinic. Amyjo sent an email with paperwork to fill out ahead of time so I didn't have to do it with a kitten upon arrival. Happily greeted by Deb, taken back into a room quickly. Met with Doctor Dave and Tina, it was great first visit we walked through everything I needed to know, everything cat related to help us along with our new adventure. Next shots visit was scheduled before leaving... totally recommend!!

Very compassionate about my older kitty. Dr Rajat knew exactly what she needed when we brought her in for severe sneezing and lethargy. He is surrounded by a wonderful team as well! This is an extremely clean and impressive locally owned clinic. Our cat is doing so much better now!

A Veterinary Clinic specializing in cats only, located in Hillsboro, Oregon. The staff there is friendly, and the vet is fairly gentle in dealing with the animals. I had originally given a good revue to this vet, but recently his actions have made me rethink my first impression. I will write more and explain my concerns again soon. Stay tuned.

Update. After taking my male cat to this doctor, for the removal of a hematoma, my cat did not come back to normal from his anesthesia for 3 days. I had specifically asked them to go easy on the anesthesia, and instead they went so high that he did not return to normal for several days, and smelled so strongly of anesthesia, that I could not allow him to lay on my bed with me as he normally does, the smell from his exhaled breath was so overwhelming.

The price for the procedure was so high that I had to go to a pet agency to help pay for the surgery, and the doctor would not proceed with the surgery, allowing my cat to have pain and allowing the growth to continue, until we had enough money to cover the surgery in full. They showed little concern for my pet, and great concern for their money in advance. I had taken a female cat to him as well, who had hyperthyroidism, and rather than giving her a prescription for medication to treat it, he sent me home with some pills and ordered me to give her Sub-Q fluids, and after I gave her the first pill that he told me would calm her stomach so she would eat more, she had what appeared to be either a heart attack or some sort of heart-related issue, panted and drooled copiously all over herself, and her left front paw and leg immediately became swollen, and the swelling did not go down until she died three days later. I've been told since that this was a sign of heart damage, most likely. Unfortunately nobody could tell me what pills he had given, as he had cut them into pieces, destroying their markings. Finally, when telling doctor Rataj that I would prefer to be present in the future when blood extractions or injections were given to my cats, he told me he was not willing to do that, he always takes them away from the owner and does those things in his back room. That makes me feel he may have something to hide, as no other vet has ever refused my presence for injections or blood draws. Needless to say, I have never returned there, and never intend to. In my opinion, people like this man should not be practicing, or should at least be highly investigated. If a vet will not give Injections or blood draws in front of a Pet's owner, this should be cause for concern. I personally find some of the five-star reviews highly suspect, and believe that some of them may be fake reviews, to bump the clinic's score up. Especially the ones that have no actual review attached to them. This happens frequently on Google, and being a Google guide, I know this for a fact. I have also noticed that they never respond to anybody that makes a review about them as most clinics do, which could indicate that they either don't care about the reviews, or they don't want to be bothered taking the time and courtesy to respond. In my opinion, pet owners would be well-advised to do their research, ask many questions in advance, and perhaps consider taking their pets to a more verifiable and highly rated clinic. There are many to choose from in the Hillsboro and Portland metro area. But ultimately of course, the choice is yours. Finally, I have no reservations in posting this review, as everything that I have said is true, documented, and verifiable, by many people involved on my end. I wish you the very best in your endeavors to give your beloved pets the care they...

Had previously made an appointment with All About Cats for a regular cat checkup and had talked to Lisa who was super nice and helpful. On 5/23 I found a lost/abandoned kitten in my apartment complex and took it in over the weekend. I registered it with Washington County (as is law) and began my search for the owner. No vets were open as it was the long weekend, so on Tuesday 5/26 I called to ask if they could scan for a chip and make sure kitty wasn’t seriously ill. I talked to an older sounding woman (not Lisa) who was incredibly rude and condescending. She insisted I take it to Bonnie L Hayes (who is not currently accepting strays due to Covid) and that they couldn’t do anything for the cat. I found that incredible that she would refuse to make an appointment to scan for a chip and check the cats health—and that she was unaware of BLH’s policy. I felt like she didn’t listen to a word I said and was in a hurry to get back to whatever she was doing before. I immediately called my old vet (15 miles away) and they got kitty in quickly. I will be cancelling the future appointment I made for my cat’s check-up. I’m sure the doctors are great, but I’m not trusting my animal to a place that can’t take the time to listen to basic info about an animal and treats...

I love this place! From the start they were so helpful. Karen took my call, answered my questions and was so fabulous. When we got there, it was so quiet, tidy, and relaxed. Dr Minor and Tina (aka The Cat Whisperer) actually took loads of time explaining to me what was wrong with my Maine Coons and how it would be fixed and also how we'd try to keep it from happening again. My cats are rather standoffish and, well let's face it - snobs, but they warmed up to them both so quickly that I was rather shocked. Of course there is a bit of cat pheromone in a plug-in like device in the room but I could see that it was the way they handled them too. There were no yapping dogs or other loud noises to spook them either so it was very mellow and not the traumatic event I thought it would be (my cats are not terribly sociable and are indoors only). I've found the perfect Dr and Staff for my furred and purring...
