Amazed by the responses received from the business which reinforces the bad customer experience faced. Looks like whatever they have written only alludes to the fact that they are only concerned of their reputation without a single concern to address customer’s concern. They only have one-sided justifications to my concerns without actually addressing the 2 main things- how can the food taste stale in 30 mins and why was the lady on phone rude and shouting? They are basically justifying their rude treament over phone(shouting on phone is not just because their staff didn’t not understand English). They are saying 30 minutes waiting to eat the food makes it taste stale, beyond amazed! On top of all this they are confident that my phone would be blocked to miss their calls(which is not true, they never called and I have proofs). I am done with this unjust treatment and refuse to take it anymore. No more interested in writing more. My review has all the details and enough to provide a transparency of the business’s bad customer treatment. The business can choose to keep adding to their justifications but it won’t change the facts. Very sad!!
I have never shared reviews, and this is the first ever bad review I have posted due to the bad food experience and even worse treatment by the staff/owner of the place
Ordered take out of hot and sour soup, egg drop soup and veggie/tofu fried rice. Got home and upon eating could taste the food was stale! Both soups were very thick (even though it was hardly 10 min drive home after picking up). Had to throw away everything. Even called up the restaurant to let them know and they were not ready to accept that the food tasted stale. I didn’t even even expect them to replace the food, just wanted them to know so the quality could be maintained for future. Worst experience!! Never going back and never recommending to anyone
Edit to respond to your reply to my review- I called you to report the issue with my order, you heard me but NEVER called back. In fact you said that the issue I was reporting was not true and basically hinted that I was lying without hearing what I was saying. You were rude on the phone and said didn’t understand me. I have call proofs that you didn’t call back and if what you have written that you called me 4 times is true then you are free to add the pics of call proofs. The fact that you never bothered to call me back is the reason I had to post the review to share my bad experience. And NO, 30-45 minutes is not that much a time to have made the food to taste stale, I’m not even saying that that food was cold or it tasted different…it was clearly stale. It’s not that I am JUST sharing the review. I had made efforts to talk to the business and asked if I could call back at a more reasonable time(completely unaware that they are closed on Monday). But the lady on the phone got defensive and kept intrupting me and said she doesn’t understand what I was saying even though I repeated the sentences few times very slowly. Looks like they do not take honest reviews well. More than the food experience, I am shattered by the way this entire matter is being handled and it was not pleasant to experience the rudeness of the lady on the phone, even though I was polite when explaining things to her. So basically after I have received an unjustified and rude treatment from your business, you are saying my review...
Read moreI come from the Midwest of the United States, and since moving to the Portland area, I have found it quite hard to find good Chinese food. Most of the Chinese restaurants here are mediocre at best. However, that all changed when I stumbled upon Good Taste Noodle House.
I ate there at lunch and ordered the lunch special where I selected Egg Flour soup, Pork Fried Rice, and General Tso's Chicken. In addition to the entree, rice, and soup, the meal came with hot Jasmine tea and spring rolls for $11.95. Now I know what you are thinking, because I thought the same... that price is too good to be true!
I am happy to report that the meal was not only cheaper than most restaurants, but everything on my plate was fresh, hot, and delicious. The General Tso's was nice and crispy but not so much that it was hard to eat, and it had just the right amount of spice with the sweet and tangy flavors one expects. The spring rolls were also quite tasty, and the pork fried rice was also delicious. The only issue I had with the rice is that it needed a little more seasoning for my taste, but that was easily remedied with the soy sauce at the table. The egg flour soup is also a winner as it has this rich chicken taste along with the cubes of carrot and tofu, which add substance to an already flavorful soup.
The tea was also quite on point as it had a nice clear floral scent of the jasmine. I hope to try their dinner sometime, but this is the third time I have been here for lunch, and each time the meal has been consistently delicious.
The only thing I have to pick on about the restaurant are the floors. They are sticky which can give the impression of uncleanliness; however, it is a small gripe and one thing I can overlook considering at how attentive the staff are, the clean bathrooms, and the amazingly delicious food.
If you have had a hard time finding a standout Chinese restaurant, look no further than Good Taste...
Read moreThis is by far, THE best Chinese food restaurant in Hillsboro/Beaverton. I've been a long time fan from when they were on TV Hwy - I am very excited they are back in business. I have 2 young children, so we don't eat in and order take out instead.
The food always taste really good and most importantly, fresh. There won ton noodle soup is as good as I remembered it and the only place that comes close to tasting like a won ton min found in Hawaii. My family favorites are the House Special Chow Mein - a generous portion of thin, egg noodles stir fried with a little bit of everything from BBQ pork to shrimp to veggies. A must for any noodle lover! We also like the sauteed "dry" green beans and beef - like beef and broccoli, but better! We also like the chicken and mixed veggies, a nice way to add a "veggie dish" to your order - the last order had carrots, zucchini, bok choy, celery, tofu and chicken. But the all time favorite is the Salt & Pepper Squid/Calamari. Bite-sized chunks of Calamari "battered" (almost like tempura) and deep fried until crispy! Tossed with salt, pepper, scallion and a few slices of jalapenos to wake up your taste buds. Addicting... you've been warned.
If you're looking for a GREAT Chinese food restaurant with SUPER friendly staff, you MUST give Good Taste Noodle at there new location a try. Then when you feel like you've finally found what you were missing all your life, tell...
