This friendly giant is within the hidden creek park west. It is the first thing you see when you're pulling into the parking area. The grounds are very well kept and support for sure, with tall trees and a dirt pass that is very well maintained. There are benches that swing and a huge grassy area. Read moreThis park is so cool! Unfortunately they don’t make it abundantly clear online that dogs are not allowed in the playground area. On the website, it says leashed dogs are allowed in the park, but it doesn’t specify anything about the playground until you arrive. I drove 35 minutes with my toddler and my dog, only to find a large “no dogs allowed” sign on the fence. We had to leave her in the car which is really disappointing. I have never been to a playground anywhere in the portland area that didn’t allow dogs, so this was unexpected. This should be added to the website so no one else is caught off guard...
Read moreThis place sure has something for every age group. From the multiple types of swings and twirly rides to the slide you can get to via ramp. Of course the Monkey is the star of the show and has all types of climbing to get up to the big metal enclosed slide. Everything is enclosed in a fence so no kids can make a break for it. Nice new restrooms that are located just outside the fenced part of the park.
