I've about given up on having a positive experience at this location. My last two visits went as follows... 1) My wife and I walked in to review and purchase a couch and two recliners. The sales person, a middle aged woman, who "assisted" us completely ignored me... not a welcome, no introduction, no attention at all. 100% of her focus was on my wife despite me standing right in front of her. As insulting and rude as this was, it wasn't the end. After being informed of all the features, my wife and I attempted to have a private conversation to discussing fiances (the couch and chairs were @ $12K), styling and size consideration, etc.. Despite attempting twice to walk away, and specifically stating "we need to talk about this" the sales person continually hovered... we walked away again to sit and continue to discuss. My wife sat on a couch and me on a chair to the side... and the sales person then sat right between us, forcing us to talk over her! That was a last straw for me and we walked out. 2) My last visit was solo, without my wife. I stopped in to review a specific product line, promoted on their website, that my wife and I felt we might like. Upon walking in I past 3 sales people, non of whom acknowledged me. Maybe I'm out of touch or have unrealistic expectations, but I expect to be acknowledged... a simple welcome and "someone will be with you in a moment"... anything!! After walking around and looking for the product line, a salesman finally asked if I needed help. I asked about the product line and shared what we were looking for (same as above). I was escorted to a section of the store where a recliner version of the product was on display. I asked about a couch or loveseat and was told, "no, we only have the recliner" (does anyone actually buy furniture sets after sitting in a chair only? Do they assume the couch or loveseat are identical?). After stating that I prefer to be able to sit in the couch or loveseat, I asked if any other store might have one. I was told "I don't know".... and then silence. I asked "can you check?"... The sales person responded with "I'm sorry, we can't stock everything"... yep, no answer to my question, just a snide and condescending reply to me asking if he...
Read moreI've been meaning to come back and update my review. Our furniture buying experience was exceptional. Ian was the first associate I encountered; he was very kind and not pushy. His sales approach was all about helping my family and me find the best furniture for our needs. He informed me about their free service, where we could meet with a designer and order exactly what we were looking for. Also, after learning that my husband was a first responder, he informed me of a first responder discount, which we appreciated. I then went home and took photos and measurements for the designer, Olivia. When we returned to meet with them, Olivia had already picked out some lovely patterns and wood grains we loved. I was surprised at how well she captured our home's essence and style. The store also provided all kinds of yummy snacks and drinks. And since we had a long drive to the store because we live in a rural area, we were pleasantly surprised. Ian and Olivia came to our home to double-check the measurements. They also returned later when the furniture was delivered to ensure everything fit perfectly and was to our satisfaction. The furniture is the most comfortable, beautiful, quality furniture we have ever owned. We are delighted with our purchase and the buying experience. Thank you,...
Read moreI met Elle at the Beaverton/Tanasbourne La-Z-Boy in January 2022. I had just moved to Oregon. Did not have any furniture. I just wanted a couch to sit on and a table to eat at. I had been to multiple stores and found nothing. I was so discouraged by the time I got to La-Z-Boy. I wanted quality furniture that I liked!! Elle sat on every couch in the showroom with me. I was a challenging customer. I knew what I wanted…… and it did not look good in my home. Elle went back to the drawing board with me. She put together a beautiful living space. I moved 1 1/2 years later. Back to Elle and La-Z-Boy. I finally figured out it out. I tell Elle what I want, show her pictures of the room and then she puts together something I love. I walked in the store today and she pulled out a picture she set aside for me. She knew I was looking for something to go above my buffet. It was perfect. I am amazed at Elle’s ability to pull something together that I love. Plus, how many stores can you walk into where they know you by name and set things aside for you? I am so grateful for a company that makes quality furniture and hires an excellent staff! Thank you...
