I was really looking forward to this place because their ratings were good and they were located in the area. Now during this covid , I don't want to take a lot of chances with take out and going out to grab food for obvious reasons. But I was really craving Thai food and finally decided to order food instead of cook.

I originally called and asked if I could do a curb side pick up because I didn't want to go into the restaurant because covid. I was told I could do curb side and I was happy about that. However when I called again to place my order someone else told me that they couldn't do curb side because they can't take payment over the phone and I'll have to come in.

So I headed on over and went inside there was a few people in there and the X's on the floor were no where near six feet apart. In addition, the guy who was handling the register was the same guy who was topping the peanuts on all the dishes! GROSS. He was not washing his hands in between the customers and would go back to top off the dishes, with his hands!! And that's not the worse as I was waiting for my food there was this lady who was in there picking up a meal and she was coughing and he still didn't go wash his hands after that, I was shocked. Luckily my food was already in the bag because if it wasn't I would've said that I would've wanted my money back he didn't wash his hands even after the coughing customer.

I tried to call them twice on my way home with no response. I again tried to call them again after dinner which by the way wasn't that great.

I ordered a chicken yellow curry and it was really watery and it only had two potatoes and two carrots. I also ordered a side of sticky rice which was $4 and a small portion. I believe it's the sticky rice they use for their mango sticky rice dessert because it was flat and I know my sticky rices.

I also ordered the chicken pad thai which was really bland and didn't have that much in it. My Thai craving was not met and the price I paid including tip was definitely not worth it.

However I did appreciate that their employees are wearing masks. But does that matter if the guy who is handling the register and not washing his hands is the one topping of the dishes. Even if this covid wasn't happening I'd still be grossed out that he was handling cash and then garnishing my food. I won't be coming back to them which is a shame because they are located...

Had a hankering for some Thai food today and decided to take out from Gin Thai Brasserie. I ordered the Pad See Ew, Low Carb Pad Thai, Steak Bites, Fresh Rolls and a Thai Iced Tea.

Although we didn't dine in, the restaurant was nice and clean. It's on the small side, so seating could be limited around dinner time.

The Fresh Roll (2pc) was filled with lots of fresh shredded veggies and a decent piece of tofu. It comes with peanut dipping sauce. They were very good and lived up to its name. All the reviews I read raved about the steak bites, so I had to try them... and I wasn't impressed. It's thinly sliced "marinated" beef, served with a citrus/chili dipping sauce. My wife and I both agree that what it lacked, was ANY flavor. Very bland. I wouldn't order it again. My wife had the "low carb" Pad Thai. I didn't have any, but she liked it and said she'd order it again. Being low carb, there is only a very small amount of noodles, the rest of the "bulk" was made up of shredded veggies like cabbage, carrots and bean sprouts. Cooked like traditional Pad Thai in a familiar tasting sauce. She got it with chicken for an extra buck and there was a lot of it. I had the Pad See Ew. This is one of my favorite Thai dishes and GTB's iteration was just as good as any other reputable Thai restaurant. Rice noodles, veggies and chicken, stir-fried in a dark, sweet soy sauce. It was really good. I also had the Thai Iced Tea which, let's be real - only needed to do one thing, and that's taste like Thai Iced Tea. It did. It was good - sweet, creamy and tea-y.

Overall, with the exception of the disappointing steak bites, my family and I will eat at GTB again. The flavors are good and the ingredients taste fresh. The price per dish is similar to other Thai restaurants in the area and I was more than satisfied with size of all the portions....

So I have been here a few times and have loved the food every time. Service has never been great. This time horrible! To the point I debated on walking out. Me and my girlfriend decided to eat here and looking at the dishes she asked if she could substitute rice for noodles. Simple yes or no question. This lead to the waitress walking off and after about 15 minutes of watching her stand at the counter with another man, finally had to make a effort to ask her to come back so we could older. Who each of these people were not sure, we got no introductions. Meanwhile the place is empty! Only one other table present and we arrived before them. Finally we're able to order food. Never offered desert, something besides water , napkins, etc . Had to ask multiple times just for a straw. Got our food and appetizer 5 mins apart. And the check was brought to us before the meal was done. No inquiries of if we would like to split it. And since we had the check , even though we were still eating they were done serving us. Glasses empty they didn't care. I guess having 2 other tables was more of a concern. Giving a tip of $0 would of been a better reflection of the attitude and service we experienced, the $4 we did give was definitely not deserved. Better service would of resulted in a $10 tip and a...

Service was nice, helpful, and friendly. As of 7/25/21 they have very limited seating, no big deal. Ordered Pad Kee Mow (drunken noodles), and really the only good thing I have to say about it is that it was fast, maybe 5 minutes. The noodles were basically cooked into mush, the tomatoes were almost green (who puts tomatoes in drunken noodles?), And they just used the same sauce as the pad Thai, which makes this dish NOT pad Kee mow. Maybe they do other things well, but I'm not going to trust them again after this experience.

Came here on a rainy Friday night for dinner… alone. Just me. A lot of the times these places are quick to serve but nooo. They weren’t really busy for Friday night either. Ordered Pad Thai only and it took about 25 mins for the food to come out. Just very basic without a ton of spices, tamarind, or anything fancy! I know pad Thai is rather basic but some places do blow it out of the water. Pass.
