The Shoprite experience today, (at the corner of Amwell and 206) as usual was nothing short of spectacular! While my order was being attended to I perused the store just to become a little more familiar with the abundance of variety of items within. After my order was placed by one of the many knowledgeable staff members, the checkout choices, whether self or cashier became the issue. Do I, in good concience, save the job of a cashier by utilizing the self checkout? After all the cashier could need to replenish by taking a lunch break. Or do I challenge my own mathematical integrity (or lack thereof) by taking more than the numeric limit of items through the checkout? No need for such rigidity, the staff, whether electronic or those with a pulse, are ready willing and able to be flexible enough, courteous enough, to comply with with a wide range of customer needs. Read moreI've only been in ShopRite in this plaza many times & as another reviewer stated it's "ShopRite" You take the good with the bad so to speak. Grocery shoppers know what I mean. Regarding store, it's clean & large inventory that's well stocked. I'm a master at self check out& convenient. It's the new norm. Same at Walmart, Home Depot, etc..., Anyway, I shop 3 stores. ShopRite, Weiss ( smaller selection but good prices & absolutely the best lighting, like a football stadium in there! It helps with visually impaired) & last but not least is Aldis. Read moreThis shopping center is a weird mix of high-end and low-end, although Starbucks moved to the shopping center next door. There's a bank, liquor store, $5 store (you know, the kind that looks like a dollar store but everything they sell costs more than that), gift shop, pet store, Wakefern Shoprite (not one of the fancier Saker Shoprites, although it has gotten a facelift), Subway, pizza, bagel, burger and Chinese food places, a spa and a UPS store, off the top of my head.
