After checking many installers for my kitchen countertops, i settled with Artistic stone because their estimate was cheaper than everyone else and I was recommended by a friend. But when they came to my house for the measurement the price was about 500 more than the initial estimate. Mind you I gave them exact measurements of my counter space. I was able to bargain them down to 200 increase instead of the 500. I was eventually scheduled for a 430 pm install on a Friday. Their men showed up and were surprised by my plumbing still being connected and wanted to leave. Mind you I was never advised that the plumbing had to be disconnected. I advised them that I would easily disconnect it. The worker then told me my on off switch was damaged. Again trying to get out of doing the job. I went under the sink and easily turned off the water to the allegedly broken on off switch. They then began to work in a hurry and I stood out of their way. After a little while one of their workers came out of the kitchen to see me to advise me of the damage that they did to my backsplash. They not only broke several tiles, they put a hole in my wall. I immediately called Jay their customer service rep. I advised him of what they did. He ultimately made excuses. It cost me a day of work and about 300 dollars to fix the hole, replace the tiles, and redo my back splash. I sent them receipts, photos, and at this point no reply. Moral of the story. You get what you pay for. They...
Read moreThere's a reason they have such consistently good reviews. It's all about quality service, extremely fair pricing, and a great looking finished product. I went back and forth with Kay for literally months, she gave me prices on countless different stones. At one point my contractor recommended I check out the "cabinet/counter district" in Flushing Queens for the best prices.
I did, and while they did have some cheap stuff, for what I wanted, they weren't any cheaper. And they definitely didn't provide a warm and fuzzy feeling of a business that actually cared about service and having a happy customer. So after falling off the radar for over a month I reached back out to Kay for more prices and at no point was there any pressure from them and she was extremely patient the whole time.
Long story short, I finally decided on Fantasy quartz, as you can see in the pics and couldn't be happier. Once I finally decided they were installed in about a week. The guys who did the template, and the guys who installed the counters, were all friendly, respectful and professional.
Artistic Stone is highly recommended if you want fair prices and want to feel confident in your...
Read moreSo this was a last minute job since I was working with another granite company until they stopped calling me back. I am actually happy that this happened. Because i got to work with Artistic Stones.
Due to the urgency, Roger and Daniela were able to schedule template and installation within the time frame.
My kitchen was small so Daniela was able to show me scrap so I don't have to pay for a full slap. She tried to show me as many as she could so i could have various options. She even double checked with Roger to make sure if the piece was doable. This is how i found my dream color with a reasonable price.
The guy who came to template called 30 minutes prior to arrival. And he was on time which is rare in these days and i appreciate it. Guys who came to install arrived within the time range and was able to provide constructive advise/solutions regarding what's best for my kitchen instead of letting me do whatever i want.
My kitchen is so pretty now. I would recommend them or use them again...
