Generally, M&M pizza is pizza worth mentioning to people for it's rich taste and overall great quality. However, I am leaving a low review on the horrible and ingenuine experience I had regarding a delivery.
When I called to place a delivery order, I was advised that they only deliver within Hillside township limits. Not a problem considering I live in town.
I ordered one large pizza, half pepperoni and half sausage with an order of buffalo wings. The woman taking the order advised that the total would be $20.40 for both pizza and wings. Remember that price.
Forty-five minutes later, the delivery person arrives and states "they made a mistake on the total and did not include the wings and the total for pizza and wings is 32.00".
Clearly shocked, I asked again what was reason for the up-charge and the driver stated that the wings were not factored into total despite the woman on the phone clearly stating $20.40 at the time or ordering.
My guess is that the pizzeria charged me the prices they are charged when food is ordered through the Slice App. Prior to the delivery, at no point was I contacted on the price change nor was I advised at the time of ordering that their personal delivery driver would charge me Slice app prices.
Extremely disappointed as I have been a customer for years. If the pizzeria has a problem with the prices set by Slice or any other third party food delivery, that should be taken up with the third party company and not a customer who is blind-sided when the food arrives at their door and expect them to willingly pay an additional $10-$15 than what was originally agreed upon.
Long story short: DO NOT ASK FOR DELIVERY AND CLAIRIFY PRICES AT THE TIME OF ORDERING.
