I wouldâve given them a 5 but the lose of one star was because of my slight experience with them today. Normally I donât write reviews but if I felt this way I know others do too. As someone who used to work at the same outlets for Handbag brands I understand what the job entailed for being a sales associate. I also understand itâs to help the customer and to provide any pricing etc. However today when I walked in I will say the woman who greeted me (short brown hair, older woman) was sweet and did tell me to let her know if I needed any help or any pricing questions and if I need help I am one to always ask for anything but the second I touched any item she was quick to give me a price so it did make me a little uncomfortable. Once I went to clearance I knew she was behind me and keeping an eye on me and I wasnât sure if it was because I was wearing a hoodie with leggings while everyone looked more dressed or what but I know I didnât present myself as trying to steal and always looked at the other ladies with a smile. Another point, at the checkout they have wallets and I was looking at them and she was again quick to check me out but I told her kindly with a smile that I was still looking and once I turned around to look more she talked into her walkie did a âannoyed sighâ and told whoever on the other end âshe isnât even done yetâ at that point I was done. I wanted to leave, I did purchase and left saying goodbye and to have a good day to other associates but overall I hope next time I come I donât feel rushed or that I have 6 sets of eyes on me for...

I had a terrible experience at the North Charleston Kate Spade after Christmas when I went to exchange a purse with a gift receipt and the sales associate credited it back to my boss's AmEx in error. The manager there was very unprofessional and would not take any responsibility for their error. My boss then got me another purse which I brought that the Kate Spade Outlet here on HHI. I was treated with the utmost respect and Marie handled everything for me and even spoke to my daughter on the phone up in Charleston to be sure this was the purse she wanted. She then took my daughter's address up there and agreed to mail it to her. The purse arrived in ONE DAY!! with a lovely note from Marie. She personifies the term "customer service" and she has restored my faith in Kate...
