Furniture I ordered was as expected in phenomenal quality(more to do with manufacturer Daniel’s Amish). Customer service has a lot to be desired immediately following initial purchase. Order was originally scheduled to be delivered at end of July and wasn’t received until January the next year. No proactive updates provided on delays by sales associate. Any updates received required me coming into the store. Updates only included estimated dates with no explanation for the delay until the final update a week before delivery by a different employee than initial sales associate. There was a roughly six week period were I was getting regular texts with new dates every couple weeks but still no explanation. Text updates occurred only after I had expressed my dissatisfaction in the store to the sales associate in very frank and direct terms. There would have been no issue if an explanation was provided for delay and semi regular updates provided prior to this point instead of an attempt to shift responsibility to the manufacturer in the form of the associates dissatisfaction with their performance. Which was unfortunate because associate never told why there was delay (supplies or labor shortage, truck availability, etc. ).
Final delivery process was smooth and...
Read moreMy husband and I first went to Ashley. After wandering around for 30 minutes and not being greeted by an employee we decided to leave. Our next, and last stop, was Miller Waldrop. Tammy Slaugh greeted us shortly after we walked in. She explained to us that there were two showrooms. One that had discounted furniture, and the regularly priced items in the other. We walked both showrooms before she came back and asked us before we had any questions. I really appreciated that she gave us time to browse, but also was ready to answer questions when needed. We asked her about the couch we were most interested in and a leather couch and our concern about both and our pets. She was very helpful and honest. Although the leather couch was almost double the price, she didn’t try and force it on us. She was honest about the benefits and drawbacks of both and let us make an informed decision. We are very happy with our purchase and when it comes time to buy more furniture, Tammy and Waldrop will be...
Read moreSadly I have to edit my once raving review, as much as I hate leaving negative reviews because I know how much it effects business it has to be done. What started out as amazing service thanks to the lovely employees we first met took a turn for the worse when we had to return our mattress and then deal with the sales manager Sara, she was rude, passive aggressive and oddly argumentative while talking on the phone. Several times throughout our conversation she tried blaming another employee which was not only distasteful but totally unacceptable. Throwing your employees under the bus to save face? Never a good look. Not a professional experience this time around at all. I'm disappointed because I really thought we had found our furniture store to return to for years to come but how you deal with the situation when a problem arises is more important than when things are easy, if you want a furniture store you can rely on for solutions this is...
