We have shopped hundreds of Swap Meets, across America, including 'Scott's Antique Show' in Atlanta, Ga.; 'Rose Bowl' Pasadena, Ca., ; 'Sunrise', in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., 'Denios', Sacramento, Ca., Nashville, Denver, Houston, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Tucson, Chicago, NYC, and countless Country flea markets. We have been to Amish Auctions, Pow Wows, and Rendezvous. We buy Silver/Turquoise Jewelry at wholesale prices from the artist in New Mexico. We have bought from TV famous Pawn Shops in Las Vegas, and Detroit. With this said, my wife and I highly recommend this Pawn Shop. We always are given better than fair deals. There is no desire for us to shop the Gallup Swap Meet, when this shop carries much of the same stuff, and @ similar prices. I mistakenly brought a hand gun with me on my cross country move without thinking about local state laws. I made the wrong assumption that since we have the 2nd Amendment it wouldn’t be against the law to have a gun in your place for self protection as a single female living alone in Chicago. When I looked up the handgun laws in Chicago it said I would be breaking the law to possess a gun without a permit. After that, I tried to get a permit but of course the website was down to submit an application for a permit. So, I had to either sell my brand new/never been fired gun or ship it back to Phoenix.

Luckily, Arizona Pawnman was open and PJ helped me navigate the predicament I got myself in. PJ was patient, empathetic, helpful, knowledgeable, and communicated the situation and my options clearly. He even went out of his way to look up and call a dealer in Phoenix to receive the gun so that it would be close to my mother’s home so she could pick it up.

They have a good selection of jewelry and tools but the prices aren't super amazing. I saw a Ryobi drill set that was only nine bucks less than buying it new. I know because I bought the same set a few months ago. I looked at the rest of the Ryobi tools and the prices aren't much better than buying it new. I have quite a few Ryobi tools and wanted to see if they'd have more I can add to my collection at a good price, but nope. There was even a nail gun that cost a few more bucks than buying it new. For the jewelry, prices varied, some were wildly expensive and some were fairly priced. A couple had good prices.

What really killed the experience for me was how I was never greeted nor interacted with at all. A man walked in 10 min after me and the man behind the counter greeted him happily, I think they knew each other. Regardless, it wouldn't hurt to extend basic customer service to everyone.
