What a wonderful place! Amiee not only runs a new and used bookstore with complete intention of getting books into the hands of those who can't always afford brand new book prices, but she gives back to the Holland community in SO MANY positive ways. She offers a teacher credit so all teachers can take care of their students and classrooms as well as themselves. She provides a safe space for groups to gather for many reasons like book clubs, writing workshops, crafting, and many others. Aimee greets all customers by name and truly gets to know "her people." This is a comfortable atmosphere for ALL. There is so much more that she does in the store and out in the community. Did I mention that the quality of the books is wonderful and the prices are even better! Please follow The Bluestocking Bookshop on social media to learn more and stop...
Read moreAbsolutely love this book store! If you haven’t been to the Bluestocking Bookshop ever, you’ve missed out on a not so hidden gem. Aimee, the owner, is just the raddest and so is her entire staff! You can trade in books for credit AND educators can use the educator fund at any time to purchase materials for their classroom! 🙌🏻
The heart…the driving passion, of this bookstore, is truly its dedication to serving, and representing, ALL members of our community! It’s one of the biggest reasons you should take the extra few minutes to drive and shop here! The new space is bigger, beautiful, INCLUSIVE, and feels like your cozy second home away from home for anyone who walks...

Second, they have deals and promos all the time (“it’s March, so it’s Reading Month,” that sort of thing). Third, I can receive credit by getting rid of some old books. It’s awesome! I always manage to find something worth reading. Not as heavy a stock as Reader’s World, but the value is incredible. Yesterday I “bought” a collection of Carver stories, Destin memoirs, and the Oxford Book of English Verse. Can’t beat it—thanks...
