Ordered online Friday at night and paid online. My son drove from south haven to Holland to pick it up from drive-thru around 9:30 pm and was told all the fryers were already shut down. Website says the drive-thru is open until 11pm. He was told to come back tomorrow. He drove back today(Saturday) and was treated rudely by a male employee that had a major attitude when my son explained what happened. Employee said he needed the receipt and my son told him he had his receipt plus there was a receipt left in back as well as record that he did not get the food the night before. Employee finally had it getting made. It was a large order. The order was messed up. We ordered the family meal of 6 piece chicken, two chicken sandwiches, two sides and four biscuits. The receipt only listed five pieces of chicken (2 legs, 1 breast, 1 thigh, and 1wing)we received one leg, two thighs, one breast and one wing. We got 5 biscuits as if they thought they could replace a piece of chicken with a biscuit. The chicken was delicious. The sandwiches were also delicious, but I got nasty end piece pickles that were mostly skin. The coleslaw was a little dry. My husband liked it. I wasn't a fan of it. The Mac and cheese was soupy with a small glob of melted cheese in the middle of the top. No one liked it. Plus it was an extra 50 cents to get it. It tasted like it was last night's leftovers reheated in the microwave. My husband and I agreed we have had boxed Mac and cheese that tasted better and were less soupy. My son's food order part was correct and he enjoyed it. The tenders were good and he really enjoyed the sweet and spicy wings. The biscuits were cold and dry but the taste was very good. I think they would be amazing straight out of the oven. The fries looked and tasted like they came from bags in the freezer. Nothing special about them but tasted good. Overall, I would say don't go to the Holland location. Don't order online. Go inside and make sure it is rung up the way it should be and don't go far before eating on it. The District manager came in and was disrespectful to every single staff member. As a minor I had to TRAIN. Yes TRAIN my district manager. The person who was supposed to be in charge of me I had to train as a minor. It was just me and the district manager and I didnāt know how to deal with manager stuff neither did she. The employees were lazy and kept food that should have been in the fridge for the customers safety. They would keep employees who would call off multiple times and have no punishment towards them. Leaving me as a minor to come in at 9am on my days off because there would be no manager or reliable crew. The chicken was not rotated out so I would have to hang out hours old chicken to customers. I suggest nobody goes to this location or waste the money on it because itās old chicken 90 percent of the time and they do not follow times to keep it fresh and free of bacteria. They would change how I had to things over and over to the point I would get told to bag things newly more then twice in one week. They are the most inconsistent disrespectful people I have ever worked with. Managers are childish specially Ashely who would go in her car and cry if she was overwhelmed instead of helping us. As soon as I seen it had two drive threw lanes and one window I allready knew that was not going to work out from working fast food myself! No point in having two lanes unless you have two windows!! But anyways, I I ordered the strawberry lemonade, when we finally made it to the window to pay she gave us something else didnāt even know what it was and my husband said we ordered the frozen strawberry and the cashier rudely said we donāt have thatā¦.. he said then why didnāt you tell us that when we ordered ? She had a very rude response rolled her eyes shut the window and came and got the managerā¦ā¦ handed us the card back and didnāt say anything! Then gave us 3$ in cash and he said we didnāt pay cash and she said was rude again and said itās for the lemonade. I am shocked that this place just open and these people are allready being rude to their customers!! Like it seems like there are not happy to have a customer, annoyance because we are there purchasing food! I also seen the strawberry flavoring they are using just sitting all out on the driver. threw counter. So we will definitely be going to the Muskegon or Grand Rapids location and avoid holland! Ridiculous, finally one close to us and we as the customer are a annoyance to the employees to even go there! Need more friendly service, and better training how to talk...
