Better customer service is needed. This one is for you Alex. Alex I believe, I might be mistaking the dude with the beard and the dude with the glasses, but this one's for the dude with the glasses... Horrible customer service experience. Got quoted for Pokemon red at $40 yesterday. Came back today, and with a smile on my face, I was caught off guard by the sudden judgement passed onto me, being called a liar. This is how it went. I came in the store with a good attitude, and nicely asked Alex, I believe, that I was here to sell my Pokemon red. He did some typing and said, "I can give you $25 total for this". I told him I was quoted out for 40 the day before. He then stated," You don't have to lie, we can only get rid of this for 45 as it is.". So I proceeded to tell him I don't appreciate being called a liar, and that Steve and a newer kid were working and quoted me out on this, let alone, the $20 jlabs I threw into the offer today. He proceeded to take the game cartridge out of his gameboy and smack it on the counter. Nope. He never apologized. I proudly told him that maybe he should reconsider his profession. You just don't pass judgement on a customer as a liar regardless of whatever the back story is. Unless, proven of course. So, I asked Alex to allow me to speak to a manager, and he gave me the store number, and said he had as much power as the manager. I gave up, he refused to serve regardless. One of the worst customer service/ bartering deals I've ever experienced. It's one thing to barter, and another to accuse and disrespect someone, or anyone. Thanks for the horrible experience Alex. I've been a frequent customer for about 20 years. For me it's always been a go to place when looking for reasonably priced video games & accessories, CD's, and movies. Super helpful staff, and owner. I deducted one star because of how trade ins seem to work at times. I recently brought in a almost brand new game with stellar reviews that a new copy everywhere is, and will remain $59.99 for some time. It wasn't even in the system there yet, only being a few weeks old. It was on sale for a couple days at best buy for $40 when I'd gone in I guess, so that brought the trade in value down to $15. It's $59.99 everywhere still, best buy included. I do understand mine was a used copy, and you're trying to run a business. It still felt insultingly low for something you can turn around, and sell for 2 times what you paid for it, with that price even being one of the cheapest used copies in existence. I could turn around, and sell it for 3× what was offered myself. It's happened on more than one occasion, and reminds me of why people joke about trading things in to gamestop. Even they though at the time of writing this, are offering $27 cash for it. Regardless, I'll never hesitate to recommend CD exchange, and do so often. It's a staple in Holland, and it's basically a life-hack to check what they have before going to the big box stores. You'll more often than not find exactly what you're looking for,...

I LOVE this store. They even get rid of any scratches on my CDs. Music is VERY important to me. I've been listening to my favorite music while going on drives at night since age 16. I LOVE music from the 1980s and early 1990s! I've got my favorites from here like: West End Girls (1986), Shout (1985), The Look (1989), RELAX (1984), Shattered Dreams (1988), the hits by Heart from 1985 to 1987 and so many more...way too many to list here! I stopped listening to the radio years ago (way too much rap and hip hop, it has got to be on purpose that the few companies that control the music industry push that SO much on the people).

Your reply to Rios about learning English...OMG I was laughing for half an hour about that and how you said that's an interesting concept! Keep up the great work and I LOVE your store...I grew up in the best times for music, TV shows, cartoons and movies in the best country on earth (America was much better back then)! Your store brings me so much...
